I know this is a crazy question but I was trying to figure out how much bottled drinks are. We are thinking of ordering from garden grocer the drinks (we really don't need snacks but will order some since we have to reach a $40 minimum). So I am trying to figure out if it's worth the $40 for the garden grocer order or if it's going to be just as cheap to get our drinks in the parks.

The 2-liter bottles of Coke/Sprite/Diet Coke run about $3.89. The smaller "personal" size bottles are around $2.50 I believe. Soda is pricey in WDW.

Where do they sell 2 liter bottles?? I didn't know they sold those. We are staying at Pop century. I was hoping they sold them in the gift shops. I would get the 2 litre bottle! hmm, so that means for my soda each night of the stay it will be $27.50 just for each night at bedtime :scared1:

Oh well, gotta love the cost of disney :lmao: Maybe I will look into the resort mug. Does anyone know if you can fill up your resort mug at anytime during the night or do they close the drink stations at midnight??

They sell the two liter size at the resorts with villas-I know I saw them at the Wilderness Lodge gift shop and the Contemporary shop.

The 20oz. drinks are $2.25 for soda, water is $2.50. You probably would be better off ordering the 12 oz bottle or cans of soda, but i also suggest some water if you do not like to drink tap water.

I purchase the 1.5 liter bottles of water at the gift shop. I keep one plain water for tooth brushing, late night taking meds, etc.

I take a bunch of crystal lite to go and make up one with tea and one with hydration to go - for the long days in the park. I keep it in the fridge at the resort and it lasts longer and is much cheaper.

The bottles in the 1.5 liter size were $4.50 last time I was there; I bet they are more now.

If you drink alot of soda at the resort (and coffee) the refillable mugs pay for themselves pretty quickly.

We placed an order with Garden Grocer in September, 2 cases of water (it was really hot), breakfast foods, juice boxes for grand daughter, can of Lysol and we hit the $40 order minimum pretty easily.

In the parks and resorts, 20 oz sodas and water are $2.50 each. From a vending machine, they will cost $2.75.

Thanks everyone. Maybe I will buy the refillable mug. It definately will pay for itself.

We are staying at pop. Do they keep the drink stations open 24 hours? I know the pizza shop and all close at midnight but was wondering if the park doesn't close till midnight it will be later when we get back.
Thanks for all your help everyone! 4 days and I leave :thumbsup2

Remember that the water out of the drink stations is filtered too (required by CocaCola). Thus, that's another option if you don't like the taste of Florida water.
