Cost of baby supplies

Has anyone purchased baby food at the baby centers or resort stores? If so, do you remember the cost of a jar of food. We really don't want to pack enough food for 6 days if it is half way reasonable. We will be sticking diapers in everyones bags so we won't be needing them, I hope. Is the food cheaper at the resort stores? Thanks for any advice for a new mom.

They don't sell enough baby food at the resorts or parks to last you a trip down there i would consider taking a taxi to the nearest store or have it delivered for somewhere like garden grocer or ship it down there before you leave to go.

They sell baby food at the resort gift shops and at the baby centers in the parks. If I remember right I believe they were almost double what they are in the regular stores. #2 jar food here is around $0.50, I saw them at Disney for $0.99.

We always just pack a suitcase or bag with a package of diapers, food, formula (if needed) and since we will not be brining that stuff home we use that bag for souvenirs on the way home.

I wouldn't use it as my only resource, but I thought it was pretty reasonably priced in the parks, all things considered. We didn't buy it at the resort, so I'm not sure about pricing there.

We would feed DS in the room each morning, stop by the babycare center to get some food for him (I don't remember the selection being huge, but it was fine for us), usually buying enough for his midmorning snack and lunch at the same time. We'd carry an empty sippy with us and refill it with bottled water for him to drink between nursing sessions. Depending on our evening plans, we would either take food with us to the restaurant or buy it at the babycare station.

If you won't have access to a car, how about sending baby stuff to yourself via UPS?
