Cost of a churro?

:rotfl2: I know $4 for a churro is terrible, but I don't really eat them anywhere else so my brain doesn't really register how much I'm spending.

Now the cost of a soda or bottled water....

Costco churros vary in quality. Some are old tasting and a bit bland and overdone. But when they get them right and they're fresh out of the over cooked to perfection.... mmmmmmm! And the fact that I can get FOUR of them for the price of one at DL (and since they're bigger, it's like getting a bonus fifth one for free!) that makes it all the better.

I mean, would it kill DL to charge $1.99 for a Churro? At most $2.49? BUT $4???

If DL charged reasonably they'd probably make twice as much money off me. But because their prices are sky high and unreasonable I actually spend much less than I normally would.

I most profusely agree!
Do you hear this Disney corp? It is a message worthy of discussion at the next corporate board meeting.

Thank you

In the grand scheme of things Disney isn't worried about you. My cousin does the accounting for the churros at DLR and let me tell you there are a lot of zeros after the first number.

This is one of several reasons as to why I really began to lose that certain excitement that I once had this year. And don't know when or if I might ever return.

But you have to wonder how many others are out there like me who would inevitably spend a lot more money if the prices were adjusted to reflect real life and not some fantasy land where prices are marked up by 400%

Granted, as is, they make their money, but I've always wondered how things would look if they came down to a more realistic price point. Would people buy more? Be less restrained? I would.
