Can someone please comment on the stairs situation when exiting cosmic rewind? I have been reading about some serious falls.
I can walk but if I get unsteady I am unable to use my hands/arms to hold the railing or brace myself. I have injured myself falling down my stairs at home numerous times and that was without a disorienting ride.
Have any of you had issues with dizziness or feeling unsteady after the ride? How steep were the stairs? Would you feel safe using the stairs without holding the railing? How about exiting crowds pushing or moving too fast around you?
I understand there is an elevator. Would I be able to use that or is it reserved for wheelchairs and scooters?

You may use the elevators. There are two - you have to go up and then cross over to go down, I think? We used the elevators, as one in our group had her knee scooter. At that point I was having a bit of an anxiety attack from the odd sensations I had on the ride (like I was going to black out?) and so it's a bit fuzzy, sorry.

Anyone can use the elevators, it’s not restricted to just mobility devices. Also, I was never rushed out of the exit area (I did get out of the ride vehicle with everyone else), and could sit on the benches for however long I needed.

The elevators are very easy, right beside the stairs. You won't have a problem using them, even if you have to wait.

Thank you for your help everyone. I guess it doesn’t make sense to take chances. I’ll take the elevator.

This thread was written by me after my family’s experience riding Guardians of the Galaxy during previews.
My youngest daughter was with us, but didn’t ride. She has a wheelchair because she can’t walk; when I left the attraction, we used the elevators. They are easy to locate - right by the stairs. The first elevator doesn’t take you all the way down; you get out and walk on level to another elevator that goes all the way down.
The elevators are quite large and we had a group of ambulatory people in the elevators with us.
When we rode, there were only a few benches, right by where guests unload from the ride vehicles. I’ve read they have added more since it opened.

The stairs are a BAD design decision. I felt slightly wobbly after the ride. I thought the stairs seemed a bit steep and I would not have been comfortable not using railings to hold on to. Time for some mini-escalators.
