what's wrong with the Soda pop?
We've never had a problem.

well, there is always the inherent problem of it not being mixed right by the fountain dispenser. never good when it's way too much water. i can't say i've ever really run into that issue at WDW though.

i heard bad stories about ray's in the past on here but we ate there twice in march and was not bad at all i recommend it as much as leceullar for dinner

There soda pop is awful. It's there water or there not filtering the water or there equipment is dirty or something. I know soda pop systems like the back of my hand. I installed a bar gun in my kitchen a few years ago and learned how they work. I can fix them as well. We love it. Check it out.

I also have seen the bad reviews on here about Rays but we have always had very good lunches there. It has 3 or 4 bays. The only thing bad is at lunch when it is packed each of us likes something different at the bays. So the kids have to go get there own or im standing in line for 2 hours getting it all.

Here is some fun from rays. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u6bw8StWW7M

We didn't notice any problem with the soda there in February. Cosmic Rays was one of the best CS we visited all week -- a big change from prior visits.

All of WDW soda uses the local water, which in this case has a high sulfuric content. They bleach and filter and add chlorine, but the water retains an odor and taste that is off-putting, even to those of us who moved here years ago. I suppose those who have lived here forever don't notice or mind it.

That is probably why I never noticed anything bad
is because I am used to it.
We live in a state that has added chlorine to
its drinking water and I'm sure the resaurants
use this same water to blend their sodas.
O-well, I guess it won't bother me.:thumbsup2

When we went last fall with my brother and his family, my brother's family got all their food so quickly. When I got back to the table, I commented to my brother how they got their food so fast and he said that he ordered all of it from the same counter bay--he was allowed to order food that the other bays offer. That was news to me since I usually have to go on two lines also. I will try it this fall and see what happens.

For us, Cosmic Rays is our best CS meal by far. Also, we only drink bottled water so I have no comment about the soda (or pop as some states call it).

no complaints about the water on property here (either from fountains and from fountains). occasionally you meet a bad water fountain and i've stayed offsite and have smelled the tap water from across the house, but nothing wrong with disney water in my experience.

Disney water has greatly improved over the years. I'm not sure what they've done, but it used to be much, much worse.

Bicker you are correct on that, the water there has improved. I was surprised when I was there a few weeks ago. I was going to do all bottled drinks but I was at the Rivermill food court early in the morning. I don’t do early mornings. I forgot about it till I was filling my cup. I tried it and there was no sulfur taste. Cosmic rays I thought id try it cause of the food court was not bad but it was the way I remembered it when I was there 2 years ago. I guess I’m not use to the Florida water. IL water doesn’t have that sulfur after taste. A coke should just not taste like that.
