How do I find out when Sonny Eclipse is scheduled to perform @ Cosmic Ray's? Is he an anamatromic performer or a real person? Is there a regualr schedule for him or is it just luck of the draw?

I believe he is always there...??? At least he has "performed" every time we have eaten there. He is not real.

Yeah, he's always there. It's one of those animatronic (sp?) characters. I think it's like every 20 minutes to half hour. Every time we've been there he's performed at some point during the stay.

He's a permanent fixture - (he's animatronic) - and I think that his "performance schedule" is every 20 or 25 minutes. We've been seated in his "area" and have seen his show twice in one visit, so no worries. However, if you are planning a visit during a busy period of time, I would send a family member to scout a table in his area while someone else went for food - I've noticed lots of people looking for tables while carrying their food, only to find all of the tables in that area are full . . . . . .

Keep in mind, though, that his "stage" can be used for other purposes from time to time. In December 2006, for example, there was some sort of show being performed in that space whenever we went there, so we missed Cosmic Ray that time (but got to see him in Dec 2007!).
