Cortana Kids Suite

Can anyone tell me about these rooms? Looking to stay there in mid June of next year and I have two teenagers that would like their own bed. This week seems like the most cost efficient and it seems close to the hotel. Can anyone tell me what the walking distance is like because that's what we will most likely be doing. Also if you have stayed in the suites, are they nice, what are the amenities, how is the hot breakfast, anything else you can think of? Thanks in advance!

I don't know! Want to add desert inn & suites, Homewood suites convention center, and Camelot inn also have suites.

I like the bunk rooms. The others are more expensive and have more than we need.

Your walk will be approx 1.05 miles according to mapmywalk. In the morning, that's a pretty easy walk... After 8+ miles on a full Disney day (my average is 10-14 miles with park hopping), that 1+mile on the way back to the hotel is going to really suck.

While it looks "close" to the parks, it's close to the farthest back corner of the parks... but the entrance is between DL and DCA, so you have to, essentially, walk the length of DCA, and half the width of DCA to get to the entrance.

Another way to look at it... You will be passing approximately 11 other (closer!) hotels on your walk, plus a few stores. In my experience, I passed each of those hotels thinking, "I could be 'home' by now if I chose that hotel," every.single.time. It made each night nearly torturous! But your kids may have a better attitude; my kiddo belly-ached the whole walk to the hotel each night (Super 8 on Katella, so a little closer than your hotel).

You might be able to go to the nearest Disney parking structure and catch a tram or bus, but then you will be having to do that walk, then wait for a tram with space, ride it to Downtown Disney/bus drop-off.

There's also the ART system (Anaheim Resort Transit system), which is like $5/day per person. Downside is that you have to wait for your bus when you might be tired and ready to go home, and there are occasionally people sleeping on the benches, which makes some people uncomfortable.

Cortona: $196/night (average) for 6/17-6/19, rack rate online.

Same dates, Park Vue (across the street, 1 queen, 1 bunk) $179/night (plus free hot breakfast)

Just something to consider checking out Obviously, I don't know your dates, or the number of nights, or anything else that may affect your decision... But just something to think about.

I actually really liked the Cortana bunk bed rooms a few years ago when we stayed there, and the breakfast was decent. The Toy Story lot is near the hotel, so the easiest thing to do is to catch a Toy Story bus, ride it in, and then walk to Cortana.
