Okay, seriously, here is the actual menu that is being served at GFC. How do I know this?? I am a server there and I have been serving this food all week.

Adults:
Appetizers:

Mushroom Triangoli - Mushroom raviolis in a mushroon broth topped with shredded vegetables.

Spicey Shrimp over Grit Cake - Shrimp sauteed in a chipotle cream sauce served over a parmesan grit cake accompanied with wilted spinach.

Strawberry Soup - this is the famous Park Fare chilled strawberry soup. It tastes like melted strawberry ice cream.

MIxed Green Salad - a mix of gourmet greens, (lola rosa, boston bib and frisse) held together with a thin slice of cucumber and drizzled with homemade raspberry viniagrette.

Soup of the day

Dinner:
Chicken Breast - Pan seared airline breast (has small wing bone in it) served with au gratin potatoes and asparagus with a red wine sauce.

Prime Rib - Slow roasted prime rib served with mashed potatoes and broccolini (a hybrid of broccoli and kale that produces a sweeter, less woody tasting broccoli)

Salmon Napoleon - Grilled Salmon served on a polenta cake with wilted spinach and a lemon caper butter sauce.

Shrimp and prosciutto penne pasta - Shrimp and prosciutto (salty, thin sliced ham) in an asiago cream sauce with asparagus.

Herb marinted tofu - Herb marinated tofu served over a mixture of stewed vegetables with a feta stuffed tomato on the side topped with balsamic drizzle.

Smoked Pork - Smoked pork served with cheesey gnocci and red cabbage.

Childrens menu:

Appetizers
mixed green salad - spring greens with tomato and carrots and ranch dressing.

Fruit cup - cantalope, honey dew, and grapes

Chicken noodle soup

Carrots and celery with ranch

Dinner:

Prime rib - same as adult, just smaller portion

Grilled chicken or salmon - served with brown rice and broccoli

Cheese or chicken pizza

Beef and Macaroni

Dessert:

Bread Pudding

Assorted desserts - carrot cake, chocolate mousse, fruit tart, key lime creme brulee, raspberry horns.

Its good to have the correct menu, thank you. We decided against booking it as we didnt have the menu at 180 days out. Me being a veggie i was a little concerned with the "pre-plated" bit.

But the veggie dish sounds yummy!!

We have booked breakfast instead and i would be interested to know how it is served.:goodvibes

Well crud! This childrens menu is much better than the 2 choices I was told was available when I called. Hmmm...maybe we'll rebook! Thanks for passing along the menu!!:goodvibes

Also for those of you that don't have a reservation, try again because they are going to opening more up soon. They lowered the numbers for the first few weeks until we get used to the higher volume. Also try just going there, the other night we took several walk-ins because we only have half the reservations unlocked.

Another question..... Are you able to get seconds, or is it just what is served? As I understood pre-plated means it is an all you can eat. Thanks for the update. :thanks:

Thanks for the info. Do not know if we will be keeping our ADR.:confused3

phlufster, Could you post the breakfast menu please? And is it still Alice, Mad Hatter, and Pooh characters for breakfast? Is Mary Poppins still in the greeting area outside for b'fast? We haven't been to 1900 PF since Dec 2005. It was one of my triplet's most favorites. Thank you!

Please please please, someone (phlufster) is it refills/seconds/all you can eat or just one shot....

thanks

I would also be interested in the characters as we are going there mainly for the Mad Hatter. I hear he is good fun!!:cool1:

He was amazing and so much fun!!! All of the characters at b'fast (Mary Poppins was in the outside greeting area) were fantastic. We loved it.

Can't wait...only 8 weeks to go.

Thank-you for posting the menu!:) My DD4 is excited to meet Cinderella for the first time and now I'm getting excited about the food!:thumbsup2

I like the look of that menu. It's way to near dinner, and my stomach is now rumbling big time.

phlufster - I'll have the Spicy Shrimp over Grit Cake, followed by the Shrimp and prosciutto penne pasta, or is that too much shrimp? I'll follow all that with a chocolate mousse. A nice glass of white wine to go with that too. I'm not on the DDP by the way, I'll pay cash. Thanks!!

Oh thank you, finally some first hand info!!!!! I'm looking forward to more details about ordering seconds, etc. I'm so glad that salad is on there for an appetizer. My mom had that at GFC last fall on our trip, and it was so pretty and fancy looking. She loved the dressing! This was her favorite restaurant of the whole trip, so we will definitely be keeping our ressie. Maybe we will see you in September! :wave2:

When did they change this to pre-plated? I have been there twice for dinner, and it was a buffet.

ReggieB--Mind if I join you for some of that pasta? It is awesome!!! I'll have some wine too please!

1900 Park Fare is closed for refurb so they have moved the character meals over to GF Cafe and are offering a pre-plated meal with characters in it's place. GF Cafe isn't set up well for a buffet so they couldn't just move the buffet.
