My sister and nieces have plans to go to Disney 3/7 thru 3/12. She is thinking of cancelling due to the many people who visit Disney from outside the country who could be infected with the coronavirus. Any others cancelling?

No. The risk of contracting and dying from the flu is much much greater than any chance of contracting any other virus like the corona virus. Measles less than the flu, but more than corona virus.

Hand washing, avoiding touching things like handrails (hard to do at Disney in and out of rides and queues), avoiding obviously sick people, and keeping your kids’ hands clean and away from their face is a good practice for all times, but especially with the flu and other viruses.

Also, there is an outbreak of things like hepatitis A in central Florida, and so that is more worrisome to me personally where I live. One school and one restaurant (that I know of) have come out with some details about who should be vaccinated after eating/drinking there.

So many things are easier to catch than this scary one, and even more deadly (like the flu).
