This Canadian couple (DH & I) have been watching Coronation St. for awhile but, not before Sarah's history on the show. We realize she is David's sister but, not who Bethany's father is? nor who Uncle Steven is? Why was she living in Milan?

Sarah was still at school when she had Bethany and as far as I can remember her Father was another school pupil who is no longer mentioned.
Uncle Steven is Gails brother (Audrey's son) who lives in Milan.
Sarah went to work for him when she was written out of the show.
At the time she was in a relationship with Jason (Eileens son) and he had intended to move with her but backed out at the last minute

In fact reading the link below it says that Bethany's Dad died

Also used to be married to Jason in real life and they have a daughter (in real life) called Scarlett. They used to leave about 4 miles from me. Sarah has been into the toy store where my DD works a couple of times - Hamleys in the Trafford Centre in Manchester.
