Coronado Springs or Caribbean Beach Resort which would you choose and why? Need help choosing one of these resorts.

I booked Coronado for this Christmas- I like what both resorts had to offer, after watching several videos on YouTube-Coronado was the choice. Watch some video reviews for both. WHY- biggest thing mentioned in the Coronado review was the extra attention to cleanliness of the resort.

We chose Caribbean over Coronado for our September FD trip because we much prefer the resort theming (the colors at Coronado seem so drab compared to those at CB, and we prefer the music at CBR, too) and CBR has more of a vacation feel to us. We walked around CSR and it seemed to be very much a "business" resort. I did not think I would mind that, but somehow the people with their name tags and their business suits just took away something of the Disney magic for us.

I have heard great things about both, but that is why we chose CBR.

We have a family of four, my hubby, myself, son 18yrs old and daughter 8yrs. Also my oldest might be joining us with his fiancée they are both 25yrs.

Ok, well either one will be fine. Nice zero entry pool at the Caribbean Beach, but also at Coronado, huge and I mean huge hot tub. You might have a better chance of a bigger discount at Caribbean, but if you choose there, do not go with a pirate room.

I've stayed at both, and I like Coronado Springs more. It feels more upscale to me. I also like that it has 4 bus stops compared to 7 at CBR. Plus, I didn't care for the food court at CBR.

Also, no elevators at Caribbean Beach. Might want a ground floor room there. I didn't care for the food at Coronado, but I just loved the water slide and theme of Coronado. Either one is a great choice.

CBR. We stayed at CSR in June and we didn't like it. There was nothing "wrong" with it, it just wasn't for us. We love CBR. However, CSR has a great central location. We drive to the parks except MK, and nothing was more than 5-7 minutes. We drove to the Wilderness Lodge, and it only took about 10 minutes.

I love the Caribbean Beach in the summer:fish: and Coronado Springs during the Christmas season.:santa: Both are wonderful resorts!

CSR! Its smaller, we like the buses better, they have an awesome main pool and business class is our favorite with access to the lounge for snacks and drinks. They also have a spa, salon, fitness center and dance club.

CBR. Both are "fine" but Coronado is a convention / business hotel so it doesn't "feel like Disney" to me.... it feels like a Courtyard Marriott. So, it is absolutely fine but I prefer to feel like Disney when at Disney!

I always try to book CSR...it is a little more adult oriented since it is a convention hotel.
It also has it's own buses which is very nice - I hate having to stop at other hotels along the route.

I usually end up at CBR because there never seems to be discounted rooms at CSR. They are both just fine IMO, but CBR has nor as a Disney/Vacation feel if that is what you are looking for.

We love CSR! It is not drab or business like. Yes, you do see people attending the conventions walking around. But, it is not like a bunch of business people hoarding around the place. It actually makes the buses less crowded imo. It is like a vacation within a vacation. It is so clean and the grounds are gorgeous. Very tropical and relaxing. The main pool is one of the best too! Of all the mods, and we have stayed at all of them several times, CSR seems most like a deluxe resort. CBR is ok, but for us, CSR is the mod to stay at. One last thing, our favorite area to stay in is the Casitas.

You do realize the Yacht & Beach Club (which you have listed as this year's resort for your family) is also a convention resort, right?;)

I've stayed at both and CSR is so much better. Better pool, better landscaping, better bus service. CSR is the deluxe of the moderates.

CBR.
I had an absolutely terrible stay at CSR in 2012. Rats, dirty stairwells, cast members who deeply did not care about any of it. It was bad.
That aside, the resort also felt very unDisney like to me. It reminded me of when I stayed off property in 2006.
