Very Smart of you to ask Before you GO!
UNlike us......
This bus was one of the prime reasons and benefit for us to stay at Coronado.
We would often eat at The Flying Fish, or go to Jellyrolls in the evening instead of Pleasure Island.
Originally, it was said that the reason this was the only resort to have trans.between CS & BW, was to handle Conventioneers and Conventions being held at CS and the Swan.
WE found out the hard way this April that there was no longer a bus.
We had 8:30 dinner RES. at F.F. and we waited and waited for this bus.
After 30min. and no bus, I starting asking bus drivers if they knew what the delay was w/ the BW bus.
Finally, the 4th bus driver pulling up, told us,"There is no BW Bus"
??!!! WHaaat?!!
We replied that we've gotten this bus on our two previous stays.
He says, well no more,it was cancelled since your last stay.
Luckily, we had just enough time to get a cab and breathlessly hurrying down the BW, make it just at our P.S. time.
Luckily I was early for a change, planning to leisurely stroll the BW and since we were hungry that night, to also see if we could move our dinner time up.
So, Moral of story; NEVER ASSUME THEY STILL OFFER A SERVICE- NO MATTER HOW MANY TIMES YOU"VE USED IT!!
and vice-versa.
ASK, ASK & double -check, at Guest services of the resorts and the Parks. (also told no bus from MGM to MK in "99 - But my sons were able to get one on the same day we asked.??!!and as far as I know there isn't) But, now I ask anyway. LOL
BTW, cab prices are not bad ,about $6., we had expected to use the cab service for our return anyway, just wish we had known,
WE also enjoyed using it to get back to CS after Epcot and avoid the front gate rush.
So now we'll be staying at the Dolphin and that solves that problem for Us!
Sorry this was so long, just wanted to warn others of our experience .
