Coronado Springs Rooms

I am going to CSR with my boyfriend the 2nd week of May. I have never been there before, and from reading this board, I know many of you have been there- ALOT!

i was hoping some of you who have stayed there could tell me a little about the differant rooms they have there.

I am having trouble deciding which section I like the most, and was thinking maybe the rooms would be a deciding factor.

Are the rooms in the cabanas/ranchos/casitas differant from one another, or are they the same?

any other info you have would help too!!

The only difference in the rooms is a slight color variation, the furniture and fixtures are the same. The area we love is the ranchos. The quiet and peaceful is just beautiful, but it is the farthest away from El Centro, but I think that's part of what we like....You'll enjoy anywhere at CSR!!

I too believe the only difference is slight change in color...different colored dressers and comforters. I prefer the Cabana area. It is very relaxed and well... cabana like! You feel like you are on your own private beach. I think Ranchos would be my second choice...seems very private and secluded. My last choice would be the Casitas...they are the largest area---4 story buildings (I don't know if there are elevators, I would assume so). I'm not digging the courtyard/city like theme. Plus I hear that is where most of the convention people stay...I've never had a problem w/a convention but who knows.

Cabanas & Ranchos are closer to the main pool then Casistas. Cabanas & Casistas are closest to main building. Cabanas gives you the best of both

I am trying to decide between the Ranchos and the Cabanas.
My boyfriend cant decide which one he likes more either!!

Decisions Decisions.....

Maybe we will just leave it up to the resort to assign us a room...

I stayed in the cabanas and loved it, but the ranchos would have been fine, too, as we only walked to the dig site, and the times we went to El Centro we stopped on our way in our out of the resort and drove there.

The rooms all are the same size and the same layouts except for King bed rooms. In the Casitas and Cabanas the rooms have brighter colors in their decore with bright reds and yellows. The Ranchos are more subdued with more of a burnt red, browns and blues.

OKay....

so if I paid for a KING bedroom, are these much differant? Are they bigger or the same size?

Anything else I should know about the KING rooms?

I have pictures of Casitas and Cabanas rooms on my website. I also have floor plans on my website.

The King Bedrooms are the same size as the double bedrooms. Everything is the same except for the bed. Some of these are handicap rooms though and instead of a bathtub with a shower in it they have a shower only, that a wheelchair can roll into.
