Should I call the hotel to request a specific room before my trip? When can I call and where should I request a room? We'd like to be close to the main lobby area. Thanks!

You can call central reservations and have them put a request in your reservation. Realize that it is only a request and you may be placed elsewhere. They are usually very good with granting requests.

If you want to be close to El Centro, request the Casitas section (maybe someone else can help with a building #!). You can also put Cabanas as a 2nd choice, since they are fairly close also.

We stayed in Cabanas, building 8 I think, and it was a fair walk to El Centro. But if you want a specific building, call CRO and give them your request, then a week before your check-in, fax the request to the resort also. We did this last time and paid for water view, but then requested Cabanas and kingsize, and got both!

Just call Central reservations and ask that your requests be noted on your reservation.

You can also make a request when you check in. We have been very successful with doing this when we check in and we get to experience the Disney magic.

The fax is the best way or at least calling CRO.
