Does anyone happen to know the approximate price of a box of donuts (the larger boxes) at Panchitos?

Also, I asked this a day or two ago but not sure if anyone knows...I was curious how the DDP pizza delivery worked, ie: how to order it/where from. I know that it is 2TS credits for 1 pizza, 2 beverages, and 2 desserts but I don't know if I would go through room service or what. Thanks!

So given everyone's experiences with the buses, what would be the earliest ADR's you would make at any of the parks or monorail resorts for breakfast if you are staying at CSR?

We make an 8:05 ADR for Crystal Palace every trip and always take the buses. We've also done the 8:05 at Akershus in Epcot. Park buses start running around 7:00 or so, sometimes earlier. We always make sure we are at the bus stop by 7:00-7:15 at the latest.

I've been trying to find the answer for you, and I stumbled onto something interesting. In the 2011 DDP brochure, pizza delivery isn't listed as a DDP option at CSR. If you click on the link and scroll down to the DDP locations (page 4), the places with pizza delivery on the DDP are designated with a green box with a white P in it. The values and the other moderates all have the designation, but CSR doesn't. CSR restaurants are typically added late to the DDP since they are not Disney-owned, but the CSR restaurants are all listed on the brochure. Maybe that is why we can't find the answer - is it possible they don't have that at CSR? It doesn't list private in-room dining like the deluxes either, though.

The Pepper Market does offer an 8 inch and a 14 inch pizza. Your best bet might be to order the 14 inch pizza (or two) to go - it should only be one CS for each pizza, plus you would get a drink and dessert with the CS credit. Typically, you can use a TS credit for a CS meal if you find you have too many TS credits.

Maybe someone has actual ordered pizza for delivery and will know for sure.

The large pizza at the Pepper Market is now 2 adult CS credits. Guess too many of us were ordering the large................

You can get a pizza at PM or at Rix grab-n-go. I've not seen it on the room service menu or for delivery.

You know, I think you are on to something with CSR not having the green "P" next to it like a few of the others...I'm quite surprised at how few have the pizza delivery option, though. This is really a tough one! We all know CSR offers room service, so technically it should have a green "P"...maybe I will just have to call and ask directly if no one knows for sure. I did ask Josh @ easywdw.com to inquire about it as he is there right now for a CSR review so hopefully he will be able to get a difinitive answer!

I can't imagine Pepper Market only charging 1CS for a 14" pizza...but that would definitely be a great deal if that is the case! I just thought having a super-quick pizza option might be great on the night we come back from Island of Adventure. Currently we're planning on doing a late dinner @ Pepper Market so maybe we'll just have to go with that. :confused3;)

Thank you so much for trying to help find the answer!

Hi all,

I have a question about purchasing park tickets at the CSR. My parents need to buy their tickets next Friday when they arrive. Should they do this before they check-in and then add the tickets to their room key? I won't be there with them when they arrive and want to tell them the best way to approach this. Thank as always for your help! :flower3:

I don't know for sure, but I would think it would be easiest to add it to their reservation now, so it will already be part of their KTTW card when they check in. Have you considered getting the tickets from Undercover Tourist to save some $? You'd have to pay a little extra for express shipping, (unless you pick up in Orlando)but for 5 day tickets, you'd probably save about $30(minus shipping costs) - just an FYI to think about. I believe they can add those tickets to your card as well.

Thanks! I will talk with them about Undercover Tourist. They were going to buy the tickets at their local AAA office, but at least at their office, AAA no longer offers a discount on tickets, so there was no advantage to buying them there.

Thanks for posting this info! :goodvibes Still not a bad deal, I guess, since a 14 inch pizza is three times the size of an 8 inch pizza.

The prices on the Undercover Tourist website include tax and regular shipping (but you can pay extra for express like a PP mentioned). The prices on Disney's website don't include 6.5% tax and shipping (it is charged, but it is not listed when you price tickets until you get to the checkout screen). UCT will offer savings over Disney's regular prices, and you can get an extra discount if you use the link in the Mousesavers.com newsletter that came out today.

Assuming they don't buy the tickets from UT, they can buy the tickets when they check in and have them added to the KTTW card. The CM checking them in (assuming no on-line check-in) should be able to do it right there and add them to the KTTW card.

Thanks to everyone who has shared so much information about the resort. I am looking so forward to being there. The reviews have been great as well. We have 2 sleeps to go and we will be on our way to DISNEY    I am just a little excited! When we get back I will return the favor of all the reviews and do one myself. And hopfully be able to answer some questions. ;)

With the talk about Disney transportation, it got me wondering. My fiance and I will be driving to the world, so we will have our car. I was just wondering if anyone had suggestions as to which places are easier to drive to ourselves, and which ones are easier to just take Disney transportation. *To and from CSR* I know for sure we will probably not take our car to epcot. We may end up "drinking around the world" and probably will not want anything to do with driving after :rotfl:

Mark and I do NOT use Disney transportation (except for the Ferry at the MK). We have driven to the parks from whatever resort we have stayed at the last fifteen trips. We just prefer going on our "time schedule" and not "Disney transportation schedule." It is a very quick trip to the Studios and the Animal Kingdom -- five to six minutes; I would say about eight minutes to Epcot and about 10-15 minutes to the MK (depending on traffic and getting through the "gates" to the parking area (that is ONE BIG PARKING LOT).

That makes me feel better! I am the same way. Which is one of the biggest reasons why we are driving. i like being able to come and go as we please, rather than having to wait on the schedule of a bus. We did the same thing last time my family visited Disney, I think we maybe used Disney transport two or three times. And i know one was the same ferry.

How long of a drive is it from CSR to/from the TTC?

About 10 minutes if you know your way around and traffic lights cooperate.

Thanks so much for the info. I did get the Mousesavers newsletters this morning and they would save about $30 even with express shipping. But, it's also good to know that if they don't want to do that, they can just do it when they check-in. They are not doing online check-in. Thanks again! :)
