We just booked a 8 night stay in Business Class today :) My kids are looking forward to the pool/slide and as long as the lounge has something for me to grab and keep the kids quiet until we have a brunch or when their stomachs are rumbling just before bed I'll be happy! Does the lounge have flavored coffee/creamer/ latte machine or anything of the sort? Glad to hear they carry DH type of beer and my parents aren't picky on wine selection ( I don't drink any of it so not a biggie for me).

So the building with business class is close to where you would fill up your ddp mugs and the DIG pool? Would it be smarter to walk to Bus #2 stop instead of going to the one closest to the business class building to make sure we get on the first time to avoid seeing a full bus drive by and have the kids very unhappy (in May/June)?

This will be the first time we've been to this resort, I don't even recall seeing a sign for it in all our trips so we are excited for something different and somewhere my parents can relax a bit beyond the Disney mayhem (of traveling with three grandsons). We've stayed at POR, POFQ, CR, Shades and CBR...where in relation to these does their transportation relative ease rate, those who have gone multiple times to CSR?

...and here I was thinking that Disney had actually opened up the lines of communication:rotfl: Well, you would certainly qualify as a medical priority for a fridge. Let's hope CSR will help us all out!
Nah,we're not that lucky ;).
Hopefully they can help us out :thumbsup2.
I will try my best to report back with any information i find out whilst over there :thumbsup2.x.

I would specify that you need a refrigerator for medical reasons.
I called 407-939-5277.

Thanks for the number, but they wouldn't help me,because i have booked with a travel agent i have to ring them and ask them to put a request in on my behalf, which i have now done :thumbsup2.
I am still going to ring the number that's on post one a few days before we fly though, just in case.x.

This has probably been discussed, but I can't find it and I am still curious:

How often are the buses already full by the time they get to Bus Stop #1? ....since the pickup order is 2,3,4,1....

We are going the week of Christmas, and from what I've read the crowd will be terrible. I'm just wondering if it would be better to stay in preferred and use Bus stop #2 instead of Bus stop #1 to have a better chance of getting on the first time. thanks!!

Busstop 2 is a good 10 minute hike from 9B, you could go over to stop 4 which is alot closer. Christmas 2010 we stayed in Ranchos 7B and used stop 4 the whole trip with no issues and that is the busiest time of year.

We have spent 4 of the last 5 Christmas in Orlando, most of it at WDW including 2 stays at CSR. I think the only time it will be an issue is trying to get to rope drop. We haven't really been rope drop people since our first trip. Catching the bus at 9am-10am instead of 8am there was never any issues. We are staying Business Class this December and plan on using stop 1 becasue it is so close. If it becomes an issue we will walk over to stop 4.

OK so we're booked but haven't made a room request beyond needing connecting.
My kids LOVE the DDP mugs and want to make the most of refills - as we're in the parks early (normally rope drop) I'm thinking the Dig Site refill is no good as its open late? Also because its a special great for my children to serve themselves!

So this leaves the main food court right?
Is there a way I get try to get rooms close (as in 5 minutes walk max) to the food court, without paying a load extra?

Thanks in advance :)

We've never stayed at CSR before. We are going in October, 2 adults, 2 kids (6,9). Any recs on where to stay? We'd like to be close to a bus stop, a place to refill mugs and grab a quick breakfast and not too far from Dig Site for the kids. Probably wont be eating there for a real meal just maybe a breakfast occasionally.

The closest buildings without paying extra are Casitas 4 and Cabanas 9A. Both are 3-5 min walk, just in opposite directions. Cabanas 9A is close to the Dig Site main pool as well, Casitas 4 has the Fitness Center, Spa, Salon, Sauna and is close to bus stop 2 which is the first pick-up. Both buildings have quiet pools.

Thanks for this :) I meant to say before that the pools aren't too important to be close to compared with refills so that's fab.

Please be patient with me - I'm new to this! At what point and how would I make these requests? Also, should I ask for those buildings specifically, or just ask to be near the food court?

Thanks again for your help!

Anytime after you have made your reservation you can call and have a request noted on your reservation. I would request the specific building. If you don't care about the main pool than Casitas 4 is the best location at CSR.

Finally made my final room request:thumbsup2. Kept going back and forth between Cabanas and Casitas and finally decided on Casitas 4 waterview :)
I read that it's only a 5 -7 minute walk to dig site and El Centro and that is fine. I chose this location mainly for the bus stop being so close and the first Park pickup. Quiet pool looks awesome also. I also about got our evenings planned out. It's all coming together and I do believe I have 108 days left:banana:

I was told on here that they do have connecting rooms in business class, but my TA said they do not. So I am confused about that and asked for ajoining rooms.

Watch room video of CSR. You can tell this is a video of a BC room because there are robes in the closet and there is upper dark wood molding. These are features of the business class rooms.

You can clearly see a picture of the connecting door. I also posted previously I had a connecting door for our room ending in 25 (king room).

:thumbsup2

I put in a room request for our trip. We booked a water view room. I would have went standard, but they were booked up for our week. I requested Cabanas 9b, corner room water view if it can be done. I also requested a microwave. Now to sit back and keep my fingers crossed. :)

Cabanas 9B is the Business Class rooms, you won't get a room there without paying for it.

Really I believe you but my TA called to have it put on my reservation and was told they don't have connecting rooms in business class. So when my real TA gets back from vacation on the 30th I will have her check into it.
