What other items does the grab and go offer for breakfast? We usually like to get a bowl of oatmeal or cereal, a banana, a blueberry muffin, etc. I was hoping to use a few snack credits.

We will probably have the full breakfast buffet at least 3 mornings, but the other mornings hoping to just get by on grab and go items.

I am getting a little nervous...I emailed my TA Tues and she hasn't rec'd our Travel Doc's/Luggage Tags yet. When do these usually get sent out? TIA!

They usually are sent out about 3 weeks ahead of time. Since you are leaving in 15 days (according to your ticker), I'd check with the TA again and if she still hasn't received the docs, have her call WDW.

If you don't get the docs before your trip, there are work arounds. It just isn't as convenient. If you don't get the DME luggage tags, just take your baggage claim tickets to the DME counter and describe your bags to them. They will go get your bags and transport them to your room for you. The DME counter can also help you get vouchers to board the DME since you wouldn't have the vouchers that come in the mail.

The only other thing you would be missing is the coupons that come with a package booking. Those come separate from the DME mailing, and maybe your TA can work something out with WDW to get those to you.

Thank you! I will call her Monday morning. I thought it would be like DCL and should arrive 3 weeks out. Talked it over with DH and she does works for a Disney ONLY agency so she probably can work some magic and overnight doc's. But I'm still a little nervous.

BTW...Actual am now looking forward to the buffet at PM.

We leave in 14 days and haven't got our Mickey mail either. We got a DME packet a couple weeks ago. CM on phone said it has been sent just delayed....i hope it comes Monday!!

Ours came in the mail this afternoon... Just need the DME now.

Need to go thru my DCL stateroom door stuff so we can have our green DISboard MickeyHead in the window. Now just watching the weather to start packing.

Checked in yesterday. They had us in Rancheros, about as far out as possible. System didn't even show my request for "something as close to the main building as possible. Asked to change to something in the Cabanas, told not possible because of construction. Asked for something in Casistas, told not possible because there was a waiting list, even for preferred. CM then tried to tell me that Rancheros is where EVERYONE wants to be.

Yeah, right.

So I ask about changing resorts. She gets on the phone again and tells me they have something in Casitas 5. I take it.

It's out there, but not as far out as Rancheros and not too far from the #2 bus stop. We'll live with it for the next 9 days since we'll leave the room early in the morning and won't return until late at night.

Nice resort.

I called to try to inquire about the menu. Was thinking of eating lunch there today after church. But the switch board operator wasn't able to find out any more information other than what we already know. No one at the Pepper Market was picking up phones. She told me to call back later after church and maybe they'd have more information available.

We were in Casitas 5. We felt it was close to the same distance to El Centro as our room in Ranchos 7A. I prefer the look of the Casitas. Especially at night, it was beautiful to walk around and look at the fountains in the courtyards.

I may be in the minority, but I am not happy about the buffet change at the PM for breakfast and lunch. We like to take a break from the parks, come back to the hotel, have lunch and relax a bit. If anyone is on property now and can report back regarding the buffet, I would gladly appreciate it!

I don't know about construction. I'm intrigued by the buffet change. Wasn't too happy when they decreased the Pepper Market's hours for serving lunch, since we eat at off times.

I'm interested in the menu of the buffet. I'm not going to take a trip over to check it out until I know that we'd eat what's on the buffet menu, since you can't get anything ala carte.

We arrived Friday night around 6PM and we did online checkin. We are in the dreaded Ranchos 7B close to 7A, near handicapp parking and a very short walk to our room. We were upgraded to a handicapp king which is very nice. We have a rental car so we don't take the busses.
DH slept in until 10:35AM this morning, and I wanted to check out the Pepper Market Buffet, but we ate at Rix Lounge instead. We used a counter service for an egg sandwich, a croissant for me and an orange juice. I had a refillable mug. I guess since it was 11AM, she included the croissant as a lunch time dessert which pleased me. We are on the regular dining plan. DH also had a meatball sandawich from Rix
Friday with a drink and dessert and it was good.
I didn't hear any reviews of the buffet yet, but it was very crowded this AM.
I paid for a standard view room so we are OK with the loction as long as we have the rental car. The resort is full of cheerleaders who marched in the parade taping. I see most of them going home today. So far the resort is full. Weather has been great. We are enjoying our stay at Coronado Springs.
We did go to MK yesterday afternoon to eat at Tony's, it was a madhouse.

We arrived on Friday around 4:15 and got Cabanas 8A room 8201. the CM that checked us in was very sweet and helpful. We got a card for a champagne toast for our anniversary for the Laguna Bar. We just have to make sure we find the time to use it! Our room is nice and was very clean when we got here. So far no towel animals but no big deal. We had fun Friday decorating our window. There were a couple of people laughing at us as my husband was standing in the window trying to tie the ornaments in the window but we think it looks cute. My mom mad me a beautiful wreath with red & silver balls and white & red HD Mickey heads on white lights. Unfortunately the extension cord she sent doesn't work but it still looks good in the window. We really haven't explored the resort yet but hope we can find some time later this week. I'm gonna try to write a dining report and have been taking notes at each meal (Even though I forget to take pics sometimes!) My husband is even getting in on the fun of rating the food at each meal! Hope everyone that is here is having a great time and everyone that coming soon has a safe & enjoyable trip!

I haven't found anything yet about Cabanas construction. Mouseplanet listed some parking lot and bus lane "rejuvenation" permits that were filed in Orange County last week.

Stitch Kingdom doesn't list any refurbs for this week. The Unofficial CSR Website lists Ranchos painting and bus lane renovation near the convention center.

A few people have reported buildings being painted while they were there, but I haven't heard of any construction in the rooms.
