I just got Coronado Springs at a great rate of 93.00 with tax. This is for the first week of May. I got one of those great Disney post cards and booked about three weeks after. It's my boyfriends first time at the age of 30. Please let me know what to expect from Coronado? I have stayed a Dixie and Port Orleans but never at Coronado. This is a spur of the moment trip. And I can't wait.:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

Kelly, I stayed at the CSR a few years ago and had the best time. It was with one of my best girlfriends (we spent an extended Girlfriends' Weekend in WDW).

Please go to the Dreams Unlimited Travel (the muscle behind the Dis) website that is devoted to the CSR. If you look at the left-hand side of that webpage, you will find a link to streaming video of that resort. Please check it out.

We just got home yesterday after 8 days at CSR, and we loved it! In fact, DH and I are planning a trip in the somewhat near future to CSR without the kids. The evening views are wonderful, and it is just an all-around great resort. We got the same rate as you, using the Military Salute, and we would have felt as though we got our money's worth even without the great rate.

Enjoy!!

See you there Kelly. I got the $95.00 rate but got free mini golf tickets for the group. Check out my info page below.

I wish I could get my husband to try CSR. :( We have stayed at every other moderate except CSR. He is convinced that there willl be too many convention people (people in business clothes which is not what he wants to see on vacation) and he doesn't like the 10% gratuity added on at the food court. Oh well, maybe someday......

Hi, we hope to stay at CSR but wonder if you get get food at any food court there without having to add 10% fee?? I'm just thinking of the simple things, like to grab a salad, or shichen fingers.... is there an additional fee for this?? We have stayed at ALL STARS and enjoyed the use of the food court, but not crazy about having to pay an extra 10% for every meal... Any clarification would be appreciated. THANKS , Telly

Telly - no fee for take out. You can order anything they make for take. But remember it is not an ordinary food court. Regular plates and silverware are used, better food than your average food court and the server will bring your sodas and refills.

:)

Piglet203 and I just got the same rate, $94 plus tax. It's saving us close to $1,000 (we're going for 12 days). This means that we'll have more spending money than we first anticipated, which is great. I hope the resort is as great as it looks and sounds to be, according to everyone's reviews of the resort.

61 days to go!!!!!

I'm so glad this postcard rate is still available! I have a postcard which lists the same rate and "expired" on 3/17. Of course, DH just told me yesterday (after much prodding on my part) that maybe we can go afterall! I think I will call soon and ask for CSR or CBR. Does anyone know of availability at CBR or POR?

Wish me luck!

After seeing the food court (Pepper Market), and the many wonderful choices there, I wasn't at all put out by the 10% fee. If you are doing carry-out, they will mark your card as such, and you won't be charged the fee.

We have stayed at the Coronado twice and really enjoyed it. The pool is one of the best that Disney has to offer, in my opinion.

I might be out of line here but I was wondering if you could give me that code. We have always wanted to stay at CSR but could never afford it. We get postcards from AllStars which I love but since we seem to always go around Thanksgiving we only get them at that time.
We are staying at ASMu May 2- May 10 for $99 plus tax but I would love to stay at CSR.
Again excuse me if I am out of line, not trying to be pushy.
Thank you so much.

Heath dog,
I don't think you're out of line. I can't remember the code off the top of my head. I will look when I get home this evening. I believe the rate is for everyone, since my postcard didn't list an id# next to my name. I don't know what the current guidelines are for listing a code here on the boards. Some time ago there were problems with people giving out restricted or unverified codes. Perhaps someone could email you directly with this code. I'll try to check back later today.

We love CSR! We were there a couple of years ago and will be staying there again this June. We stayed at the Boardwalk last year and it was wonderful. But, we like CSR just as well, if not better! We've also stayed at POR and definately prefer CSR. Have a fun trip!

I just got Coronado Springs at a great rate of 93.00 with tax.

$93 with tax? We got the moderates $93 PLUS tax with our postcard code, or $94 PLUS tax with DC, plus free mini golf (we took the mini golf). I was happy with it.

I just called to see about getting that rate and they wouldn't offer me any discount with a post card code. Anyone know of any tips that might help here?

Simply saying " a postcard code" won't work. You need the code which consists usually of 3 letters.

RRL30:

I was able to get Coronado for 94.00 plus tax with a three letter code for American Express cardholders for this August. If you have an American Express card and you are interested in the offer, email me and I can give you the code!!
