I have done a search and can't seem to figure out what the Coronado Junior Suite is?

We are starting to plan our very first trip to WDW! My (31), DD(7.5yo), and DH (who has been as a kid). Our one issue (ok, not one - we have tons with planning this trip!!LOL!) is a room. We want to stay on site. But dd has a hard time falling asleep if anything is going on in the room so i was looking for a room with a 'bedroom' for DH and I so we could do stuff at night and not have to turn the lights off and be quiet really early. Any suggestions on places to stay?

I guess worst off, maybe a bunk bed room? At least she would be more 'enclosed'.

Thanks for any help!

I am also interested in the Junior Suite at CSR....
anyone have any information, pictures, etc. :D

Where are the Jr Suites located? Which building?
Would love to see pictures....anyone with a link to view?

Thanks

I'm pretty sure the suites are located in the Casitas section.

I think the suite is just 2 rooms together. Go to suite disney for pics. You can link to the site from my site below. If it doesn'r work the first time, click again but leave the first window open.

Sherry -

The Wilderness Lodge also has Junior Suites. We've never stayed there, but I believe there is a sitting area separate from the main bedroom that has a sleeper sofa. Maybe someone else can confirm this??

We priced the Junior Suite at Coronado once, and found it was cheaper to get two connecting rooms, so that's one idea. Make sure you research the boards thoroughly for discounts if money is an object! Go to www.mousesavers.com for updated resort discounts.

My daughter is a light sleeper and goes to bed earlier than everyone else in the family. We all stayed in one room at AKL on our recent visit. Everyone is so active all day at WDW that people are tired out at night, and it's easier to fall asleep!! She put the covers over her head and fell asleep while we watched TV for awhile.

Good Luck!

Thanks everyone! I looked over the rooms and it is so much information :earseek:
I am thinking we will stay at a moderate. Do any of those have bunk beds within the single room? There are only 3 of us, so I hate to get an extra room ($$ - we could spend it on other stuff on our trip!).

I have no idea what place to even pick. We could just go value, but I think the moderates look so nice!

Edited to add - it looks by Disneys site there are no moderates or values with bunkbeds, is this correct, or did I miss one?

If you can get a good rate, a cabin at Ft. Wilderness would be about the same as low season rack rate at a moderate. You would have a double bed and bunkbeds in the bedroom, a bath, and a living area with kitchen, dining area, and a murphy bed. There is a nice deck with bbq as well. We love it there - very peaceful. It is nice to have a kitchen for snacks, and if your daughter needs quiet, you can just tuck her in, and go to the living area.

Just another option...

Great, you gave me another choice  LOL, just kidding :) Thank you! I haven't looked at the cabins much yet.
I am so confused - is there a head expoding icon? :teeth:

You're right - there are no moderates or values with bunk beds. You might be able to get a standard bunk bed room (one queen, one set of bunk beds) at the Animal Kingdom Lodge with a good rate - when are you going??

It is overwhelming planning your first trip, but these boards will give you tons of info, and keep asking all your questions!

grumpyandbashful - We are thinking December this year _early Dec. But we are flexible to Octo/Nov also. (I would prefer going this year - I can't wait and dd will already be 8yo by then).
My thoughts are - with this 7 for 4, are there other great deals for December that will come up? Because it is value season are we not as apt to get a better rate than what is there? Is Dec really a good time to go?

I looked at Animal Kingdom Lodge - WOW! That truly is a place I think we would all love to stay. But $200 a night is a bit more than I was hoping to spend/night. Do you think we will be able to get it for less? We are not going to rent a car, stay on-site and just really immerse in Disney!

Any help is so appreciated as I am feeling so overwhelmed by this
