Coronado Springs I Need Help!

Just switched resorts from Pop Century to Coronado Springs. Did I make the right choice? This will be my first stay at COS and I can use all of the info anyone can provide especially with requesting a room. I asked for a waterview room but I am hoping someone can give me a specific location they enjoyed staying in. I will be traveling w/dd (6) & grandma (72). Any info or suggestions are most appreciated.

Smart choice, you'll love this resort!

For water views the Casitas 4 & 5 seem to have the best unobstucted views. Ranchos water views are limited, but the scenery is just as good! Cabanas 9a & 9b have the better water views.

If grandma is a spry 72 any building would be fine. If not Casitas 1 is closest to El Centro so you have less walking (of course you can always ask for a golf cart ride if needed)

CSR is a great choice! My family of 4 stayed in the ranchos section--it was wonderful! Mousekeeping was always finished with the room by lunch, the quiet pool, laundry and bus stop were really close and it was quiet and peaceful around the resort (which was needed after a hectic day in the parks.) My daughter really loved the hammocks around the lake...we would lay together in the evening and watch the sunset.

I think you made a great choice. I am traveling with my grandparents in a few weeks, and switched from POP-->CSR as well! It just looked more relaxing. I liked the All Stars, but there were times where it was a bit loud or smelly (like a cruise ship sewer smell).

Definitely check Buzz's site out. I personally think the Ranchos look the best, but I requested Cabanas 9B. Had a nice relaxing look and it seemed close. If I can't get the cabanas I will request the Ranchos....my grandparents will just have to walk a bit further!

My friend and I just returned from our trip and we LOVED it there. We stayed in Cabanas 9B and were just steps away from a bus stop, the main building, and across the bridge was that awesome pool. It was BEAUTIFUL, relaxing and we thought the food at Pepper Market was really good. We also thought the busses were great at CSR.

Hi there-
we stayed in Cabanas building 8a and liked the location. The main pool in the Dig Site was less than a minute walk, and the main building - El Centro - was 3 minute walk. It's a great location with kids.

Lucky you! We had our first stay in late November. I didn't request anywhere but ended up in Cabanas section. WE LOVE THE RESORT. Everything was exceptional. I can hear the music in the Dig Site playing now........
Have a super time.
