I currently have a reservation for Pop Century for Christmas week. The opportunity has come about for me to change my reservation to Coronado Springs, for a great price. Should I take it? How many actual conventions are there during the week of Christmas? What are the best rooms at Coronado Springs? I'm concerned about the number of bus stops, how long is it really? Any other info about the resort would be great!

Thanks!

Can't comment on Christmas, but we stayed at CSR this past August. We loved this resort! There were conventions going on while we were there, but they had no effect on our stay, except to see a few people walking around in business clothes. That didn't bother me because I was on vacation and they weren't ;)

We stayed in the Cabana section and would stay there again. We had no problem with the bus service, actually I was pleasantly surprised at how quick and efficient the buses were.

Here is a link to Buzz2001's CSR website. There's a lot of info and great pictures to check out.

We are really looking forward to staying there during out upcoming trip!

I wouldn't think there would be many (if any) conventions going on during Christmas week. The resorts will all probably be full though with regular guests.

CSR is absolutely beautiful at Christmas! When we were there, Mickey & Minnie stopped by, dressed in their holiday attire & posed for photos in the lobby on Christmas Eve. Stockings full of goodies were hung on everyone's door on Christmas morning, which was a real treat & Santa also made an appearance for photos in his sleigh, that was part of the gorgeous lobby decor.
CSR has 4 bus stops, but they go by quickly.
We prefer the cabanas section, especially 9B (like everyone else).
I doubt many conventions will take place the actual week of Christmas. There were several going on this summer when we were there, but they didn't crowd the buses to the parks, they just made for LONG lines at the Pepper Market. I've stayed @ both resorts & I think CSR is a bit more adult oriented than POP, & the holiday decor is lovely.

The CSR is very nice. My wife and I spent our honeymoon there last Oct. You will enjoy your stay!

Just got back from our first stay at CSR. We loved it. No idea what it is like at Christmas, but I am sure there aren't too many conventions going on. There were some going on while we were there because we saw people walking around with name tags on, but you hardly even noticed them. Having adults walking around is nothing like having hundreds of kids running around! The pools were empty most of the time. Once I was the only person at the Casita quiet pool. We stayed in Casitas 3, and were at the end that is very close to El Centro. We were very happy with that location. We wouldn't hesitate to go there again!
