I don’t know if CSR is an issue, but the buses here are a joke. Monday the 7th EPCOT bus was 40 minutes late. Today, the 10th - buses weee supposed to start running at 1:30 for DHS since it opens at 2. It’s now 2 pm and there’s been a multiple buses for every park except DHS - not ONE bus to DHS. There isn’t even an expected time on the board.

Edit:

Apparently the DHS buses were all full before they could get to the Tower.

If this is how it is at other resorts, DHS will be a zoo today

Coronado Springs (like most of the large resorts) runs into the issue at park opening of buses filling up at earlier stops and as a result, completely skipping later stops at that resort. CSR's Tower stop has the unique problem of not enabling guests to see buses as they pass by. It's been a while since I've stayed at CSR (April 2021), but even then this was a common issue since we were staying in the Tower. The easiest recommendation to remedy this issue is to walk to the Casitas stop. Since it's the first stop, you have a much higher chance of getting on your desired bus early rather than waiting for unknown periods of time for non-full bus to get to the Tower stop.

@Betsyp IMHO this is poor operational practices the buses are filling before they make the whole loop. But this happens at other resorts too. I think @sj3mark gave you the best option, as frustrating as it might be, to head to the Casitas stop.

Oh, that’s a great idea…it’s too late now as tomorrow is a Disney Springs and resort day, then I leave on Saturday….but it’s something I’ll keep in mind next time I stay at CSR)

On another note, I was surprised the Skyliner was in action today given the wind. I did it, I loved it, but the wind made me nervous as the carriage swayed. I took the Friendship boat the other two times - I loved it!

Oh I’m sure that it’s not unique to CSR…It’s been at least 4-7 years since I’ve been to WDW, so I don’t recall if I had this issue before.

The Skyliner closes due to lightening in the area. Not sure if it will close for wind alone?
