Coronado Springs - Best Area to stay with 5yr old?

Hey Everyone....

Wow what a fantastic forum this is.....I will be staying at Coronado Springs (yes I will be one of those dreaded conference attendees ) from July 18th - July 23rd for the SAP Admin 2005 conference.

I will be there with my wife and daughter whom is 5 years old and was wondering what the best area would be to stay in on the resort, we will definitely want to be close to a pool, preferrably a quiet pool I Would guess from what I have read? yet not too far from the large pool, restaurant and transportation etc...

any input from you experienced folk or any input you may have for me would be greatly appreciated as it will be our first time staying at Disney; 2 years ago when we were at Disney we stayed at a timeshare resort (Oak Plantation) in Kissimee which was very nice as well.

Depends what you are looking for

cabana 9b is close to bus stop 1 and the main building with a short walk to the Dig Site over the wooden bridge

cabana 8a is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a short walk to the main building.

cabana 8b and 9a are inbetween the 2 above.

Cabana rooms are mostly waterview rooms or non parking lot views.

rancho 7b has a quiet pool, is close to the Dig Site and bus stop 4 with a bit longer walk to the main building. 7b is behind cabana 8a. rancho 6b is also close to the main pool area.

The casitas are close to the gym, spa and have great fountains and courtyards. casita 5 is close to the Dig Site with a good walk to the main building. The lower the casita number the closer towards the main building.

I vote for the Cabanas....have stayed in all of them except for 9A which is a smoking building.
