Hi,

I will be attending a conference at Coronado Springs in the Fall and I am not at all familiar with the resort. I want to be near the convention center so I can go back my room for bathrrom breaks. But also want to be near the first bus stop, since I use a powerchair, I figured it is more convenient for me to get on at the first stop and get off at last stop. Any suggestions on which building I should request? I am hoping that accessible rooms are dispursed throughout the resort.

Thanks

Autumn

They are throughout the resort.

I stayed in Casita's 3 last time - nearest to first bus stop (which to the parks is NOT the main building), and it was perfect!

Something to keep in mind, though - since there are multiple stops, it's always possible (not likely, but possible) that at the first stop, both wheelchair spaces will be filled by Guests returning to the resort but exiting the bus at later stops. Naturally, this won't be a problem early in the morning when heading to the parks, but it could be later in the day.

I love the Casitas section. Close to the main building, has the first bus stop for the parks and I love the decor. But it's far away from the main pool.

Casitas 3 or 4 would be your best bet, and as others have said bus stop #2 is the first stop buses make that go to the parks. We were just there earlier this month for a conference myself.

Thanks everyone,

I will put in a request for the Casitas section. I want to maximize my park time after the conference each day.

PugDog- What did you think about the conference center?

It was a nice place and if they are going to provide any food it was really good. Do bring a sweater or jacket though if your prone to getting cold the AC works alittle to well at times in there.

That's a possible problem at any resort. And, if the bus is super full, it may not be possible to get on even if there are no wheelchairs or ECVs.
I think as long as you are not leaving the resort at times when lots of guests are coming back, it should not be too much problem.

That makes me think - I've been to lots of conferences and I've never been at one where the temperature was good.
