We are considering Coronado Springs for first week of June, but only using Disney transportation. We have never relied only on Disney Transportation. Thoughts & Opinions please? Will we be disappointed without a car? If we pack our patience will this work? THANKS for your input!

Coronado Springs is pretty big and they’re limiting the number of people per bus. You should be fine if you get on the first bus of the day, but it could be a problem if you wake up late. The end of the night could also take quite some time to get back.

I think you should be fine so long as you give yourself plenty of time to get to wherever you’re going, but if you’re willing I’d take an Uber at times when the bus lines get really, really long. Personally, I’d take an Uber back from Epcot because the bus situation there always sucks at the end of the night.

You need to ask this on the Resorts Board. The discussion here is around NON-Disney hotels. There is a whole giant thread dedicated to the hotel over there.

That said Coronado Springs is probably my favorite resort and have always had the best bus service at this resort. It is centrally located so there are no long rides to anywhere. It also has more than the normal amount of dining right on the property so if you don't want to bus somewhere to eat you have real options. Has one of the best pools on property but just know right now they are limiting number of guests at pool and using a wait list / text system. That could be everywhere but I've only seen it posted about CSR.

Disney transportation works well with the occasional backups of any public transportation system.

And there's no Disney bus to Target, Publix or an off-site restaurant.

If you don't feel entitled to a 5 minute wait at every bus stop you'll be fine.

Also, don't forget you can use ride share if you want to quickly go to another resort, for example.
