Coronado or Caribbean?????

My husband and I have stayed at POR every time we have gone to Disney. We have decided to try something different this year. We are going in October and cannot decide between Coronado or Caribbean. We are married, no kids, in our early 30s. Suggestions?

I have not stayed at CBR. But I think CSR could be a very fun and romantic place to stay. I would recommend requesting casitas. Nice area to stroll through at night, and nearest the main building. There is a really nice outdoor bar area near the main building that overlooks the lake, plus a nice lounge inside. Food court was very good too.

Main pool area is nice too. Bar (closes at 6ish). Huge pool with slide. Hot tub. Ping pong poolside.

The pool at CBR has a pirate ship geared towards young kids.

Have stayed at both several times. For you, CSR, no doubt! You will LOVE the resort!

First instinct is CSR, LOVED that resort, I'd differ with a PP and suggest Cabanas ... to us, the best area by far. Casitas felt too hotelish to us.

BUT, CBR is undergoing a renovation, starting in April, and it looks to be pretty Dang nice. Not sure if it would be finished by Oct, I know they are going village by village.

We have stayed at both and for a couple, I would also pick CSR based on the ambiance and amenities.

Coronado for sure if you have no kids. Wait until you have little ones and then go to CBR.
