I am getting so excited about going back!!
Here are a couple pics from previous visits.....

Yes, you can rent equipment at the marina and even rent a bass boat with a tour guide.

We ended up LOVING Ranchos....
We thought it would be too far, or too "rustic"..... but there was a convention there and nothing available in Casitas. So we thought "oh well".... got a nice room near the pool, which worked out great!
And LOVED the whole theming of Ranchos.
Only thing..... there were no benches or seating outside.
And I don't know why? There are in Casistas and Cabanas.... and it was so lovely to just enjoy the scenery.... but no where to sit.
I ended up sitting on a big rock for a while.

I leave for our first trip to CSR on Saturday : I am so very excited. I love seeing all the pictures. I am hoping for any of the Cabanas location. We are young with young children and we don't mind walking. I am keeping my fingers crossed we get in one of those buildings. The place looks absolutely gorgeous. Thanks all you CSR fans

Seriously.... if you get there and they don't have anything in Cabanas.... don't worry.... All the sections are equally as nice!!!!
And each has it's benefits. LIke I said in my previous post... I thought we would not like Ranchos... and I LOVED it!!!!!!!!.

Goodness these pictures make me feel......bubly!!!! I am seriously so happy I booked my first trip to Disney at this hotel....124 days to go! My teens have a silly grin on their face and its too cute.

When will you be there. I'll be there with DD15 (soon to be 16) 8/17-8/30. We're sooo excited.

We just got back a couple of weeks ago. Do whatever you can not to get into the Ranchos. They are far from PM. If you end up there, it wont be the end of the world, but it is hard to get up there after a long day at the parks. The resort is very nice. DS loved the slide. I loved the hot tub. Pepper Market is good. I enjoyed the food. DH had a hard time with the price but that is his personality. He has a hard time with the price of a lot of things. I would share food with DS. The kid pizza is huge. So you can get a salade and eat a slice or 2. I also got the kid bfast. It is 3 bucks more but you get a full meal plus juice You can put coffee in you refillable mug. DS got the mickey waffles and I ate one of those and he had some of my eggs.

The Rix is a great place to get a snack.

I thought there was abus stop near tha ranchos as well. How far was your walk at the end of the day?

There is a bus stop in the ranchos, there's one in each section as well as the main building.
