corner punch

Can anyone suggest a corner punch (that rounds the corners of pictures) that won't hurt my hand so much? I hate sharp corners and love the rounded look, but after awhile my hands ache. I tried a Fiskars one that closes like pliers, but it never cuts right. I have one that you mash with your thumb, and it works great, but it's hard. Even DH said it was hard and he is a big guy. he said I need to invest in a really good easy to use one. So I need suggestions from anyone that has a good easy to punch one.

that's the one I have, but it never makes smooth cuts, it always makes a place on the photo that you can tell exactly where it started and stopped (if that makes sense). It's very easy to use and I'd like one in that style. Do you know if yours is the large or small corner size? think I should try another one just like it?

I have the small-sized one. It works OK for me.

I went home at lunch to check on my doggy and while I was there, I looked for my Fiskars punch and it has completel disappeared from my desk. DS was up there last night and I would almost bet that he thought it was a TOOL!! he is a tool freak at 3 yrs old! I'll check with him when we get home. Maybe it's the 1/2" and that is too big for my photos. I may try a 1/4'' one sice I never use 4x6 pics. I do 4 or 2 photos to a 4x6. I do like the crop-a-dile because it holds the corners and seems easy to use.

thats what i have and i use it with my group of women with special needs --- some of them have limited hand mobility and they are able to use it no problem -- I also have a small orange one (not sure which brand -- might have gotten it for a dollar some where and you push it with your thumb) that one works ok too but my go to one is the creative memories one

while on the topic of corner punches, is there one that makes the corner curve inwards. I have saw soo many layouts with it, I have just been using a small circle punch to snip the corner off.

I know the effect you mean, but don't know about a punch

Another vote for the CM one - my DS(11) has his own which he has been using for 5 years now The only time it won't cut is if you forget to empty the trimmings out

Yes, it's called the ticket stub punch. There's a green corner chomper version that looks similar to the picture above. I finally got one the other day.

You can sharpen the blade by cutting tin foil with it.

Im glad someone posted about the foil. I thought I had heard that before. I bought an inexpensive one from Hobby Lobby that looked like the CM one. It does not work good! It's going back to the store today and I think I want the Crop-A-Dile one. It does two sizes and holds the clippings. They're 40% off this week at Joann's. After I return the one to HL along with some silver letter beads I couldn't use to Joanns, I'll have enought to get the punch. Thnaks everyone!
