Which do you think would be quieter? A corner room or a room with no connecting door? Wasn't sure now that carpets are gone at Riverside? Very few rooms in our booking category offer both corner and no connecting door so trying to gauge the least noise set-up to try to make a request and yes I know it's just a request.

We have had a corner room several times and really like them. But you do get more noise from people walking past your room than a non-corner room would get. There is only one next door neighbor in a corner room, which is nice.

We usually hear more noise between floors than between walls and connecting doors.

It all depends on your neighbors. If they are quiet curtious people then you won't hear anything. If they are loud people then you will hear noise. If you have a connecting door you can open the door and place a bath towel on the floor and close the door, this will help with some noise. I have found on occasion corner rooms to be more noisy. You are susceptible now to two walkways instead of one with more people passing by. This opens you up to more noise from kids running, more people talking, and more carts rolling by. I've had corner rooms where I didn't hear a peep, and corner rooms where there's been a ton of extra noise. It all depends on location, and who the people are that are staying at the resort at the same time you are. You could stay in the same room twice and have a great experience the first time and a horrible experience the second.

I downloaded a white noise app on my phone. I put the phone on night mode, plug it in and play a fan sound. I'd highly recommend doing this it helps an awful lot with blocking noise.

My first stay at Riverside was corner and connecting. 😉

I would rather a corner room with occasional guests walking by than another full room with potential for ongoing noise. I requested corner often.
