I'm actually laughing as I write this. . One because I can't believe I'm typing this question and two - because it's the DISboards - someone will actually be able to answer it.

So cornbread.

Okay, I'll start at the only place I know for sure. Pop Century with the turkey dinner.

we had corn bread at Port Orleans French Quarter and they said we could buy it alone also....BUT the best is at House of BLues.....when we went there we got two skillets (think that is how it came out) and we four adults ate it all including our main meals.....delicous.....

port orleans definitely has it...I managed to snag some at one point without a meal, but don't remember when. On a different note...I LOVE spoonbread...makes me so happy. If only I had canned corn.

Great. I'm not a fan of buffets but I have that booked foir Christmas day.

Adore POR - wonderful. I used to eat at TE all the time but I found that over and over I would get sick right after eating there.

Drat I say b/c we used to "takeout" the buffet (not advertised) and take it down to the FW marina. Used to love that. They gave you so many containers that one takeout would feed three people no problem.

Blargh, all of the cornbread I've had at WDW is of the sweet variety. So I'll love forever anyone who can tell me if some restaurant on property actually serves the non-sweet type (a.k.a. the right kind ). I'm addicted to that stuff. Best eaten crumbled into beef stew until it's more like a meaty gruel sort of thing YUMMMMMM.

All the places listed for cornbread are good but something about House of Blues Cornbread is like a "dessert" it is soooooo good

Boatwrights at POR serves it as the pre-meal "bread". Good stuff.

Trails end had the best cornbread....and with the huge bowl of chili...ohhh i can still taste it!!!

My wife hates buffets as well otherwise I would definitely be going back to Cape May for the corn bread and ribs.
