This thread has inspired me to change my menu for tomorrow. We are doing BBQ ribs with potato salad and I was going to make baked beans to go with them but I decided that grilled corn on the cob sounded so much better! :)

I said butter, salt and pepper, and that's how I make it at home (one the grill).

I also had at a festival recently the roasted ears and they had a bottle of lime pepper. That was really good too.

Plain if it's sweet corn
or
Lawry's season salt
or
chunky salt and pepper

I remember my grandma would butter a slice of bread, then rub it around her cob to get it all buttery. Anyone else butter their corn like that?

Kosher salt, pepper and butter. Yummy.

I used to love trips out east to the farm stands on LI-we'd get fresh picked roasted corn. The fairs around here have that, too, and we all search for the roasted corn!

This is how my mom always buttered our corn growing up too. Now, we put those corn thingys in the end of the corn and turn it on a stick of butter. My son could eat it everyday. My MIL actually has it and it's the only thing she'll make that night. I thought that was quite odd.

I always cut mine off the cob though, but my family wants nothing to do with that.

i like mine grilled,, but i do ity a bit differently,, husk and desilk the ears, wrap a couple slices of bacon around each one, lightly salt them, wrap tightly in aluminum foil, put on back eedge of grill as youstart your cooking, take off grill last,,, wonderfully smoky flavor.

What a good idea! Gotta try that. Put me in the old fashioned corn club; real butter, salt, and maybe a little pepper. Never anything else...

If it's boiled, butter.

If it's grilled, Crystal Hot Sauce or Green Mountain Gringo Salsa.

Well, I throw you for a loop. We love ours with Butter and Parmigian cheese. Yum Yum.

Plain, but if I am going to do anything I'll melt butter and add a little salt and sugar, paint it on before throwing it on the grill.

Butter and Season All Salt, wrap it up and throw it on the grill, yummy!

Im hispanic and ever since I remember we eat the corn with lime, salt, butter, mayo or Mexican cream, and cheese, parmesan cheese or Mexican white queso!

I love corn on the cob and usually have it with butter and pepper.

Around here they like to eat mayo and ketchup on corn.

Butter and salt for me. Last week we had the absolute best corn on the cob we have ever tasted. My wife got it at a market north of here and the ears were almost twice the size of what we're used to. Fresh corn on the cob and fresh tomatos are two of the things that make this time of year great.
