Corn on the Cob

What do you like on your corn on the cob?

MMMM... I love corn on the cob. I've recently encountered some new additions to butter or margarine for the corn. What do you like on yours? I like butter or I can't believe it's not butter, salt and pepper. OR dilly butter. :)

Yuck! I hate corn on the cob. I can't watch people eat it either, it grosses me out.
 
I voted for butter and salt but I actually use a garlic butter and salt. Yum! :)
 
I voted just butter; if I grill the corn, that's all I put on it. If I boil the corn, I put a little salt and a little sugar in the water first, then butter it when it's done. (I also actually use Smart Balance Light Spread, not real butter; butter was a casualty of my coronary condition...)
 
Tastefully simple seasoning salt. The stuff is SO VERY YUMMY!

it is all good. I love corn on the cob. I leave it in the husk, get it wet, and microwave it. Steamed fresh corn on the cob with no mess or fuss. We eat it as a snack at my house.
 
I like it plain. Especially if its sweet corn. I also love it the day after cold from the fridge. MMMM. Had three cold ears yesterday afternoon, might have to go help myself to another in a few.
 
I love butter, salt, and pepper but i also tried a recipe from Rachel Ray last year that I think called for butter, chili pepper and lime which was very good. I'll have to dig it out and give it a try this year.
 
Being a farm girl I LOVE CORN ON THE COB! We use to raise our own bread and butter corn. I use to only eat it boiled but found out if you leave the husk on it and wrap in foil and place on the grill, it is for me the best way to eat it. It keeps all the flavor wrapped inside it is just like being steemed only ya don't loose all the flavor. I prefer just a tad of salt and lots of butter.
 
I just like butter on mine (we don't do margarine in our house). I do buy salted butter (most of the time) so that's enough salt for me.

Most times I cut it off the cob though because I just hate having that corn between my teeth.

I love it grilled. In fact having some that way later today with steak on the grill!
