Well, I won't be as fancy as Nat, but I was at Walmart last night and bought three 17x11.5 (approx) message boards (already mounted in a black wooden frame) for $3.97 each! :bounce:
Talk about EASY to mount! It was nice to get some pins that were hidden away on to the walls -- FAST and easy! :)
They even have a large cork message board for $10. Guess I'll be headng back for that too. ;)

Sounds like a great way to view all your pins as well...

Stop buying cork boards & save your money for that upcoming WDW trip :):)!

LTR,
I did the same, I used cork boards to mount my pins. But I painted the cork with regular acrylic paint and that dressed them up lots more. And if you move the pins around and there is a hole you just dab a little of the paint into the hole and no one will ever know.
You can make a border and it looks like a mat, then just push the pins into the corkboard.
I also bought the plain cork sheets and glued it to foamcore and framed that. The foamcore is much easier to push the pins through than the pressboard the corkboard is mounted to on the framed ones at Walmart.
Last year when I visited my sister I went to a tag sale across the street from her and bought 15 big 11x17 frames for $.50 each. I had planned on framing all my pins using Nat's technique but I like the corkboard better and I don't have to use glass. And, when I get more pins to add to that group I can move them without taking the frame apart. Peggie
