Cordial Golf Residence Il Pelagone - has anyone transferred here?

We are looking to use our points to go to Italy and are interested in Cordial Golf Residence Il Pelagone, Gavorrano, Italy. Has anyone stayed at this resort? I have not found any info on the TUG BB about it. I'd like to make sure this is a decent place to stay.

I really wish I could help you. I can't even do searches properly, .

There was someone here a few years ago who did an exchange here w/dvc. I do remember the dvc member being satisified and happy with the exchange. I wish I could help you more.

Again, this was a while ago - so I am not much help. Not sure how far back these threads go if someone else can help w/searching.

Dean puts a smile on my face - I knew he would come through soon . Enjoy reading the report - wow it was in 04.

I might still trade here some day - spend a week here and then go south to visit family. We were thinking at the time of a trip to Italy (on our own beginning or ending w/family or with a tour company beginning and ending it w/family).

We did do the DCL cruise this July which was a perfect combination for us for touring Italy and lucky enough to stop at my hometown (Palermo) to visit relatives - it was a tease though, way too short.

Dean - I don't want to highjack this thread and get way off topic here - you can pm me if you have any info.

You know that I just put in a search for Mexico in 09 - my dh suffered a heart attack (luckly after our cruise) (9/4) and someone just told me they heard you need to be careful if someone has heart problems. You seem to be very knowledgeable - do you know/have you heard of any such thing?

You are welcome. Realize that it is also on the II DVC exchange list and as such, you cannot book 7 days using points directly, same for Club Intrawest, at least for the ones on the exchange list. I seem to recall that Club Cordial has joined up with another timeshare company, I think it was Distinctive Holidays. This suggests that either other offerings might come DVC's way OR Cordial might be removed. If they are, Sunterra might be a good replacement.
