How does the price of admission on our own/taxi ride compare with the cost of the excursion? How much extra does it cost to do the Sea Trekkin/undersea adventure? Are we really short on time at Coral World if we do the Disney excursion? How long would it take on your own to do it all? Can we then go to Coki Beach? is there any cost there?
Where do we get the taxi? Cost for taxi?

DH has agreed to do Coral World at St Thomas & Sea and See at St Marten. (Even said he may not go gambling)

We just got back and as a result of a tip I got on this message board, we decided not to book the full excursion to Coral World but to do it on our own instead.

We took an open-air taxi (available right after you disembark) for $7 per person (one-way). If I'm not mistaken, we paid $19.95 per person to get into Coral World, but you can check the price on their website ahead of time just to be sure. All in all, we felt that we did save money, and that we did see most everything on the ride over that we would have on the excursion. I don't know if we would have been short on time otherwise, but we enjoyed the flexibility.

We spent about 2 hours at Coral World and then went next door to Coki Beach to swim for about an hour. It was a very small, crowded beach but the kids enjoyed swimming in the salt water!
