I have a dolphin experience booked for my family through DCL. It is scheduled for first thing in the morning. My family wants to explore Coral World afterwards. Would we be able to leave the excursion after the dolphin part and stay at Coral World on our own? Or does Disney require us to return to the ship with everyone else?

We did that excursion in Jan. We were on a bus with people just going to Coral World so we had quite a bit of time after the Dolphin swim to explore Coral World. The Dolphin swim was totally awesome. The rest of Coral World was very good and we (2 adults) enjoyed it. Kids would have probably liked it even more.

We visited Coral World last November and people were getting on any of the busses to return to the ship. It's not like they check if you're on the bus you came on.

While our family enjoyed Coral World, just don't expect a big fancy aquarium like Monterey Bay.
