Are there any food substitutes allowed. The steak comes with shrimp but I don't eat shrimp. The chicken comes with plantans and black eyed peas which my kid doesn't eat.

Disney allows changed to TS meals but we can’t say what your options will be. I often a change things around. You meal will take a bit longer. I can guarantee you won’t be the first person to order steak without the shrimp (shellfish allergies!). My crew are always changing out sides, even without allergies. The shrimp is a bit weird considering the value of it vs a normal side but at worse you could just leave it off.

You can definitley take away the shrimp and add say a piece of chicken . I would make sure before I went so your not disappointed
