I have been reading alot about the Coral Reef. I am tempted to try it but there is one problem. I am allergic to shell fish. I have a bad reaction to it if the smell is too much.(steam) Would I have a problem here?
Thanks in advance for your insight.

If I had that severe of an allergy, I would not dine at a seafood restaurant myself. My aunt has a severe shellfish allergy and cannot tolerate seafood restaurants so I am just going off her experiences...

IMO, better to be safe than sorry.

I would have to agree . . . I'd check out the big tank from The Living Seas and then eat elsewhere. I'd hate to hear your trip got ruined because you took a chance like that!

However, if it is an option, send someone in and see if they can get you a Chocolate Wave to go. ;)

I guess better to be safe than sorry. But when we dined there, I don't recall any overpowering oders of any sort. In fact, the main smell seemed to be the steak that two of our friends ordered--

I intensely dislike fish and any fishy smell. I cannot ever recall a fishy smell in the restaurant, unless someone sitting at my table got the fish!

Thanks for your replies. I am usually pretty good if someone orders it. (I also worked in many restaurants in my day) I just was not sure it would be overpowering.
