Coral Reef seat 10?

Can Coral Reef accommodate a party of 10? I have been trying to get a reservation for 10 with no luck. I have even tried calling and the CM's just keep saying no availability. Is it possible they can only seat parties of 8 or smaller? I can't remember if I have ever seen larger tables there. Thanks!

THe upper level booths may accomodate 10, I am not sure. I know we had 9 there once.

I need to warn you, a party of 10 may be separated at any WDW restaurant. We were given two tables next to each other at Coral Reef. If you need to book two individual ADR's for your group, than that is how I would plan the meals, because even when you all arrive as one ADR you may need to take two tables.

The CM's at every restaurant make the effort to keep parties together, but the reality is that it is not always possible. If you go prepared for the possibility then you will not be blindsided or upset if it should happen. We have only been separated once or twice in over 11 years, and we will sometimes make two ADR's to accomodate our size, but we know it can happen, and we know before we enter about how we will divide our party if we find that we need to do so.

Yes, that was the size of our party. The thing is in order to seat nine, the upper booths need to be open. If they are not, your party will be split, and that is how all the WDW restaurants operate. If they can they will. If not your party must be split. So yes, CR can accomodate up to 9, but that is not a promise. It is a consideration.

You are fine. When you arrive, and I would arrive the 10 to 15 minutes early, tell the CM at the podium that you're together. They will do what they can.

We were able to seat 10+1 under 3 in a lower booth, because we were able to squish. We had 4 adults, 2 skinny teens and 4 12 and under. Initially I had 2 smaller reservations, I think both for 4, but we got there early and asked for all 11 to be seated together and they did. We were willing to have people not go if needed, but it was my youngest DD actual birthday so we got some pixie dust. So, they may not do it, but they can.

It is not that they do not want to seat everyone together, but they will not let someone block the aisle in order to do so. Your situation was unique in that you had "skinny" kids in the party, but suppose you did not? As soon as they needed to add a chair to the end of the table and it blocked the aisle, that option would be gone.
