I can't believe how good the food was at the coral reef. The steak was amazing and is was not loud at all it was soo cool with sharks watching us eat is was crazy. OOO and the divers came to feed the fish it was super awesome. Lets not forget the The chocolate wave sooooo great i had 2 of them. This resturant is now a must when we are on the dining plan. for 3 people the cost was like $230 and we only paid $0 (except for the $39 per day)

If i were u i would eat there 10 times

Thanks for the review! Did you go for lunch or dinner? We are going in April for lunch! :)

We love Coral Reef and it is a must eat now for our trips. We have done both lunch and dinner and both are great.

For all the complaints we have seen about DDP "ruining" everything, it's interesting that according to our last server (who has been at CR for over four years), the restaurant was DEAD most of the time before DDP. Now it's hopping and better than ever.

I'm very happy to see another positive review on Coral Reef. I think that it gets bad reviews simply because people are not used to the food or simply didn't suit their everyday tastes. At times it can be loud and now w/ the DDP, very busy, but overall it's an experience not to be missed!

Thanks for the good review. I am glad to be hearing all the good things about Coral Reef lately. We have a dinner reservation there on January 12th and were starting to worry since we had been hearing such bad things. Now we can't wait to try it.

Thanks for the review, we are strongly considering adding Coral Reef to our list for next trip!

Hi
We had dinner there on Dec. 14 and it was one of the best meals we had. Can't wait to go back in August!!

Add us to this list, too! :thumbsup2 We just had lunch there 2 weeks ago and it was one of the best meals we had in WDW. We have stayed away from Coral Reef for many years because of all the bad reviews. I'm glad we gave it a try! We will be going back!

P.S. The chocolate wave is awesome!!! I wish we had gotten 2!!! :goodvibes

Thanks for the review! I have reservations in 2 weeks and was really considering cancelling them because of the many bad reviews. I think we'll keep it!

I am so glad to see that so many of you enjoyed eating there. I really wanted to try it on our last trip in May but was afraid to because of all the bad/mixed reviews I had read. We are hoping to go back again this May and I still want to try it. I think my dd, who will have just turned 2, will love it too because of the fish and such. I was debating on whether we would eat there or not. I think we will at least give it a shot this time. Thanks! :)

Thanks for the positive reviews. I'm looking forward to my Coral Reef meal in just a couple of weeks! :fish:

Couldn't agree more. We felt the steak was better than Le Cellier. Service was fabulous!!!!!! Our teens enjoyed it so much we are dining here twice in June.

Enjoyed reading your review ~ Thanx for sharing.

We also love Coral Reef, I actually enjoyed my steak there more than the one I had at California Grill. The atmosphere and desserts alone are worth the credits/money.

We tried it in Dec. and it wasn't very good at all I was hoping maybe it was just an off night because my dd's loved the aquarium. Thank you maybe we'll try it again for our aug. trip.

My family loves the Coral Reef, the steak was fork tender. The Chocolate Wave is WONDERFUL. I'm glad to hear good reviews.

I see a lot of positive's here, but I need to throw in my 2 cents.....

we, my wife and myself, will probably never go back to coral reaf with all of the other restaraunts to choose from around the world. We feel that it was lacking in service and quality of food,,,now i'm going back to 2002 when the original dining plan came out and charged 2 credits, now it's only 1 credit, so it had been demoted from complaints...we received horrible service, which may have put us off on the food because of perception....

maybe they've changed, but if you are in epcot there are so many other choices that i don't feel it's worth the stop,,,unless you really need to see the fish tank,,,which is pretty cool......

12 days and counting :cool1:
