Trying to choose for an EPCOT ressie.
We are 2 adults and 3 children-12, 11, 9.
The children will eat fish, so that is not an issue. I am sure they will also eat whatever is on the leCellier menu as well.

We will be going in Aug. on free dining. I do realize that this may all be irrelavent becuase it is July AND THERE MAY not be an availability. but if there is and i have a choice, what would it be.

I would take either thats if you can find a res. at this late date for a party size that you have .

Let us know how it works out. Your best bet is to call and see what's available...if any. Good Luck!

They both have good food. Coral Reef is cool because you have the fish to watch. Good luck!:thumbsup2

Coral Reef has a better atmosphere and a great desert, but the food is by far better at Le Cellier (IMO).

We booked our ADRs 2 months ago (for our trip during free dining) and we were only able to get lunch at Le Cellier. I tried back to see if there were any cancellations for dinner, and they told me they were booked solid for the entire free dining period. I don't know about Coral Reef, we are trying that for the first time this year.

I'm sorry to sound discouraging:sad1: I'm just passing along what I've heard. There is always a chance for cancellations though. I wish you good luck!

Can't speak for Coral Reef, but Le Cellier was awesome! I would recommend it highly! :)

I've eaten at both, good food at both, but atmosphere is much better at Coral Reef!!

Nothing is available for the dates I need.
Time for Plan B!
Thanks for the encouragement.

I really do want to go to Le Cellier. I may just go ahead now and book it for our Feb. trip!

My kids, DH, and I would choose Coral Reef over LeCellier. (we have ressies for both during our August trip).

we had a party of 10 last year, and they sat us pretty well at coral reef, our waiter was GREAT!:thumbsup2 (wish I could remember her name). Ive never been to Le cellier, so I cant comment on the food but the food at coral reef was pretty good and the fish and divers ofcourse kept the kids entertained.

my vote would be for Le Cellier, even though we tried Coral Reef last visit and we loved it too....

Book Coral reef, I never ate there, but it helps keep room open at Cellier for the rest of us:rotfl:

Sorry you could not get either at this late of date - they are both popular!

I say LeCellier without a doubt! First of all we enjoy it there and have had excellent food and good service!

We did not like CR. We were only there once, but doubt that we will return, unless they make some changes with the quality of their food and the selection available on their menu. The tanks are beautiful, but the rest was below average.

Good idea; you will not be disappointed! Definitely one of our MUST-DOs every trip. Love, love, love the mushroom filet w/ risotto, and the appys are outrageously good!! Good luck w/ your ADRs for this trip....definitely plan on LC for Feb!!

Yes, definitely book it for February, but if I were you, I'd be on that phone first thing in the morning of your 180th day (180 + 10 if you are staying on site I think). I was on the phone exactly at 180 days out ( I forgot it could be 10 extra days somehow) and the only times I could get for any of the 8 days we will be there were after 8:30. Really too late for us. I have heard Le Cellier has become the most difficult restaurant in Epcot to book.
