Which restaurant do you think would be better for a 5 year old boy and a 9 year old girl? This will be their first time to Disney. We also have some other character meals planned (crystal Palace, Chef Mickey's and maybe Cape May) Thanks for your help !!!

Coral Reef!!!!!!:) Our family loves this place from the food to the atmosphere. We requested to be seated right beside the aquarium and it was a wonderful experience for myself, dh, ds, and dd. We also love Garden Grill however the atmosphere and quality of food are not as good as Coral Reef in my personal opinion.:)

I would suggest looking at the menu for Coral Reef before you book it. My DH and I didn't care for anything on the menu. We were actually seated in the restaurant, looked at the menu and gave some excuse why we had to suddenly leave! :rotfl:

It was many many years ago (before the kids) so the menu might have improved since then. We've never gone back.

The Garden Grill looks like so much fun my kids would enjoy it much more.

Cape May Cafe is great for breakfast. Twice we ate there towards the end of breakfast and were the only people in the restaurant. My son actually sat and colored with Goofy for 20 minutes! The characters are not there for dinner, only breakfast.

We loved the Coral Reef. We ate there with our 8, 6 and 4 year olds. The menu was good for the kids and fantastic for the adults. The kids got a kick out of seeing all the fish, shark and sea turtle in the tank. The food was delicious, service was great and very family friendly. It was my favorite dinner we had at WDW. princess:

If you're already booked other character meals, go for the Coral Reef. The kids will be mesmerized!

Thanks everyone !!! I was leaning towards Coral Reef just because we have other character meals booked and the atmosphere is so different. We are going with two other adulta who are picky eaters and the menu seems to have a lot other than just fish. Thanks again for your help !!!
