Coral reef or 1900 park fare dinner?

1900!! Our last two visits to coral reef were just BAD. Undercooked food, bad service.

Our first visit to Coral Reef was not very good, HOWEVER, we have eaten at Coral Reef two more times since then and it was very good. I had a very good New York Strip Steak. The Bailey's Jack Daniels Chocolate mousse dessert was fantastic. Coral reef gets a lot of mixed reviews.

1900 park fare is one of our favorites.. we were just there this past Tuesday .. They changed the menu added new items ... it was very good

Coral Reef would be my choice. While the character interaction is perhaps one of the best in all of WDW, the food IMO at 1900 PF is just your typical mass made institutional buffet quality food; A Golden Coral with Cinderella & Prince Charming along with her "wonderful" step family. I have never had a bad meal at Coral Reef and actually enjoy the place. My one complaint would be the usual waiting time past my ADR to be seated at Coral Reef.

Agree completely. Always had a good meal and enjoy the atmosphere. CR has a chronic problem with seating backing up and long waits as it grows later in the evening. I now try to get my ADR for 4:30pm at restaurant opening or at least by 5pm to minimize the wait.

Coral reef food is awful. Five people in our party last time, nobody would go back. 1900 was for the funny character interaction, food was ok. If you have kids do 1900. If not add a third choice

We would choose Coral Reef. The atmosphere is great especially if you are down by the massive aquariums. The seared mahi mahi and strip steak are consistently good. 1900 park fare has great character interaction with the Cinderella crew, but the venue feels like a cafeteria and the buffets at WDW never live up to a table service location where you order your entree from a menu. That's been our experience with roughly 40 table service meals literally under our belts.

None of us wants to go back to Coral Reef. We haven't done dinner at 1900 but the breakfast was far and away better than the dinner at Coral Reef. (Seriously- the seafood at the seafood restaurant was not as good as a Mickey waffle and scrambled eggs.)

Food and service was awful at Coral Reef. We personally don't care for buffet food so never tried 1900 but I've always wanted to do it for the character interaction
