Did I just hear that the Coral Reef will only need 1 table service credit in 2006? is this true? I just booked a trip with dining for 2006 and am wondering if anyone has info. on changes or which restaurants are in or out?

The list for 2006 is on the disney web site now and yes Coral Reef is only 1 ts credit now.

It sure was not worth 2 TS credits I paid for in Oct!

Oh I hope it's true. I want to try this restaurant. :cool1:

I've heard this several times but can not for the life of me find it on their website. In fact, when I looked it still said 2 credits. Where specifically did you find it and are there any other changes in credits you know of? Thanks!

Canuckdad....when will you be at WDW? I was wondering when the change from 2 credits to 1 kicks in....because I asked the WDW-DINE CM when I made my ADR's for our trip in early Nov and they said it was 2 credits....not that I think most of them really know what they are talking about.

I think I will make a ADR there and keep my back up ressie at Wolfgang Puck's Cafe and then just stop by the restaurant on our way into the park that day and ask....

Unless some kind soul has eaten there on the dining plan in the past week or so and can update us??? Thanks.

From what I was told, it will remain 2 credits for the rest of 2005.

Since we had more credits than time to use them due to arrival/departure times, we didn't mind using 2 credits here. We had a really good meal here & are planning to go back there next trip - glad that it drops to just 1 credit though. :flower:

eam, we were there 10/4 also. :)

Down to one credit as of Jan. 1, 2006.

I wonder if they will change the menu to cheapen it up? I make my ressie's Dec. 18 for March 18-25 and I have been wondering if they will start changing the menu's next year. Any one heard of any rumor's of this?

This was the only time we've eaten there, so maybe the menu changes frequently. Allears listed lobster tail. I know that those menus can become outdated, BUT someone was posting while they were still at wdw & 2 days before we left for our trip they had lobster tail. The following week lobster tail wasn't on the menu, which was disappointing - but the food we ordered was very good.

Lobster was not on the menu when we were at Coral Reef in early Oct. -- but our server told us we could order it. My DH did.

Coral Reef is worth 1TS credit! :cool1:

We are paying OOP for Coral Reef in December. It's just not worth 2. Makes me kind of mad that they are changing it in January- but not now. They changed Le Cellier to 1 credit "mid stream" why not Coral Reef?

I can understanding your feeling like that. Wish Disney would of had all of this worked out beforehand. My vacation is in March and I live in fear that after I've made all my ADR'S in Dec., they'll change the menu's and cheapen them up. There's already been some of that with lobster taken off for the dining plan here and there. I bet Coral Reef wasn't getting much business with needing 2 credits so they changed it.

Aw, never even considered that possibility. Glad you were able to order it though. :flower:
