Hi all I need your help once again!
Every year (well except one) my husband and I have traveled down to Disney for our anniversary (Jan 26th), every year we have picked a good restaurant to celebrate. Most of the time the experience has been great, once or twice not so much (Yachtsman).
This year we are staying at BWV and I am truly at a loss as to where to make our reservation (ADR).
First in the past we have eaten at V&A's, California Grill, Artists Point, Yachtsman Steakhouse,
and Le Cellier (this past January). We have never ventured out to any of the seafood-predominant restaurants as my husband doesn't really care for seafood.
However he is willing to go if they have a good steak, or non-seafood option. So here are my options. Coral Reef, Flying Fish or Narcoosees. We may or may not be on the basic dining plan (we are DVC members). I first thought Coral Reef as our wedding reception was at the Living Seas VIP Lounge, I figured it would be appropriate but it seems to have so-so reviews and they removed the catfish from the menu! However it is only a 1 credit restaurant.
Next I though Flying Fish, its on the boardwalk, seems to have really good reviews, but the menu seems kind of out there. We are kind of adventurous (sushi is adventurous for us) but the strip looks good, and I love the theme, my husband and I first met at an amusement park... still I am not entirely sure about the menu plus it would be a 2 credit restaurant if we do DP and I am not sure if it is worth it.
Last is Narcoosee's, in fact I was so sure this was going to be it, and then I read a bunch of not so great reviews. But again looks like it has a lot of options on the menu that are not fish. Plus it seems to be one of the few signature restaurants that are worth 2 credits.
Then of course we could always do the old stand by California Grill again, but we just ate there in August!
So what do you all think, help I only have 2 weeks left before my 90 days! (we are barely under the 90 day wire!)
Thanks again you guys have always been so helpful.
Jennifer
