coral reef...is there any hope?

Hi everyone. We are heading to the world on Sept. 26th and when I made my ressies at the 90+10 day mark, I could only get Coral Reef for a lunch time slot. Last year I had the most delicious risotto(paired with seared seasonal catch) at dinner and was hoping to get to have it again.

I see that it is not on the lunch menu, so am I out of luck. I have tried phoning and daily on the computer to get it changed to a supper ressie but to no avail. Do the resturants sometimes offer dinner menu items for lunch.

Yes they do offer some dinner items for lunch. Just an FYI-- they change their meals seasonally, so depending on what time of year you went to get the dish you want, they may not have it when you go again at the end of Sept. We were able to get a late lunch/early dinner ADR for our December trip and they don't have anything that we had a couple of years ago when we went in the summer. And keep trying for your ressie, even try the day of because people do cancel and you may be able to snag one after all....here is some for you

Thanks very much for your response I am definitely going to keep trying for that dinner ressie, but hopefully they might have some risotto hiding somewhere if I can't get it switched.

Whenever I think of risotto, I imagine Chef Gordon Ramsey in the kitchen kicking a tall trash can.
If you don't see it on the menu, ask. Most they can do is say no.
I eat lunch there and really enjoy it. Although I am in love with their mushroom lasagna.

I know eh? I love Hells Kitchen. Thanks for letting me know about the mushroom lasagna, that is what I was thinking about trying if I can't get the risotto.

And yelling @#^%#!! I really don't like the looks of that pea risotto he makes them prepare.

I liked lunch at Coral Reef too.
