Is this true? We have enjoyed going there in the past, but since we have done the meal plan have headed elsewhere.

Thanks

that's what i've read... and i'm half hoping it's true 'cause i would love to go there again (last time was on my honeymoon in '92!) but half hoping it's not 'cause then i'd have to give up lecellier! LOL!

Try WDW's website. I think I found it on their downloadable dining plan brochure. Coral Reef used to be under the signature (2 credit) column, now it's under the regular 1 credit column. Plus, I heard the January 1st date on here. :earboy2:

It is true. I have reservations there for the third week of January and was told it was 1 credit.

I just looked on the brochure online and it's 2...just called Dis. Dining for PS in May and it's quoted 2...where can I get confirmation...some cast members aren't privy to some changes as I keep finding out, but would love to eat at Coral but hate to use 2 credits...if I could confirm I would change my dining plans...more info if you have it...

I also noticed that the prices in the latest menu seemed to have come down some. I recollect that there were lobster entrees when I was there at like 40/per and now most of the entrees are 22-27 - more in line with other restaurants.

I hope they haven't changed their mind about it. My brochure that I printed off says only 1 TS credit... :confused3
I'm 90% sure as of 1/1/06, it's only 1 credit.

I heard this from a good friend who is a server at the Reef that yes, they are going to be a 1 credit restaurant as of January 1. It was a choice of bumping all the other big restaurants in World Showcase up to 2 credits, or drop Coral Reef down to 1. I am SO glad they chose what they did!

OH Goodie!!! We wanted to eat here on our trip in Oct but didn't since it was 2 credits and there were so many other places we wanted to try since it was our first family trip to WDW. We are going back Dec 2007 (soooooo long away) and this will be on my list for ADR's :cool1:
