Coral Reef for lunch or somewhere else (Epcot)?

I have an 11:30 reservation for the Coral Reef, and wasn't sure if it was the best choice or not. I am thinking about trying one of the world showcase places (possibly Marrakesh?) or Le Cellier instead.

This is for our honeymoon in September and we are both pretty adventerous with food. We are only going to Epcot for one day and want to have the best exoerience possible. I am looking for both great food, and a unique atmosphere. I feel like the aquarium will be nice, but nothing I haven't seen before. What is the story with the belly dancers at Marrakesh, and are there other places at Epcot that have entertainment with lunch?

Thanks for any advice you have!pirate:

I just saw some pics of Le Cellier and it looks really cool! this is a tough choice.

If it helps my other ADRs are:

Monday Breakfast: Grand Floridian Cafe
Monday Dinner: Ohana
Tuesday Dinner: Prime Time Cafe
Wednesday Dinner: California Grill for Wishes

We like both, but I would have to say the food is better at Le Cellier!:thumbsup2

I ate lunch at Coral Reef for the first time in June. We ate at Le Cellier the very next day for lunch (not our first time). Both meals were good, but I liked Coral Reef a little better. It could just be because of what I ate there. It was a vegetarian selection that was different from anything I have had before (pesto risotto) and very delicious. I had the open face steak sandwich at Le Cellier, which I have had before, and it was good, but not as good as a couple of years ago. They changed the topping on the steak. The cheese soup was good and I was glad I ordered it. I thought I would get too full, but that was actually the best part of the meal (and the bread)!

Try to get an ADR for LeCellier, its a tough one to get. That may make the decision for you. If you keep Coral Reef, be sure to use the Diver service since it is your honeymoon. Check other Coral Reef threads for specifics on this!

IMO, Coral Reef over Le Cellier, definitely. We have included Le Cellier in every one of our trips for the past 10 trips ( all in the past two years). We will be taking a break from that restaurant as I've noticed a difference in the service and the food on our past four trips that wasn't pleasant. Since I thought it was a fluke, I kept going back and trying. Even I had to give up after the fourth bad meal and less than friendly service.

Sorry, I know folks love Le Cellier. I just think Coral Reef has an edge on the food, and the staff there is just nicer.

Make sure they know it's your anniversary. We celebrated our anniversary at Coral Reef in May and I loved the nice touch of the personalized menu that we received from there.

Have a great trip!

thanks for the suggestions!

Le Cellier is booked for September 4th lunch so im sticking with Coral Reef for now.
