Coral Reef Divers and Personalized Menus

Just wondering if they still have the divers? We did this in 2008 and the kids loved it. We are bringing two other families there this fall and would love to surprise all of the kids again.

They were not able to keep up with the demand. That, and the manager who ran the program transferred to a different restaurant.

2) Originally, this was a favor to the guests.
3) They, people got greedy and lots of folks demanded it.
4) However, most sit-down eateries will still do a personalized menu.

. . . they can add things like "Happy Birthday Edna" to the menu.

THINGS GOT REALLY BAD:
Several people complained loudly if it was too busy to get a diver for their special message. Even worse, at times, folks arrived late for their ADR and missed the diver. A few even screamed at the hostess that the diver should come back for them, as this ruined their whole vacation. ENOUGH WAS ENOUGH.

I can see these types of behavior easily happening, since the last time we were there, I thought it was happening too many times during our meal and had surpassed it's intended gesture of good will to guest. Sort of like diners at WCC who come with list of gags they want the server to perform.

I got one last year, but I did not ask for it. We were celebrating our 20th anniversary and we mentioned it when we made our ADR. We were surprised that we received it.
