Does anyone know if the Coral Reef does either the diver or the special menus at lunch? Actually are these two things connected or can you just do one or the other? I had a dinner reservation but then I found out that is a Tuesday night MNSSHP and I think we will do that as we have never been and my kids are little. So, I made a lunch reservation at Coral Reef. I would prefer a dinner but we are going in September during free dining so the other day I tried for a dinner there (on a different night) they only had 8:30, way to late for my 5 year old, 3 year old and 17 month old! I will try again but my guess is I am stuck, if we want to go there ,with a lunch. All my other ADR's are ones that are pretty hard to get during this time (CRT, Crystal Palace, Chef Mickeys, Liberty Tree, Donald Safari Breakfast, Playhouse Play and Dine, Askerhaus), so switching stuff would be a huge challenge. We are celebrating my sons 5th birthday that week and was considering the sign and or special menus if it was possible to do.

When we were there in January, there was a table next to us with a little girl celebrating a birthday. She had the special menu and the diver. It was lunch: in fact we had the earliest ADR's, probably 11:00 or 11:30 am.

They are not connected. You would have to call the Manager of Coral Reef (Debbie) and leave a message. It takes her a few days to reply, but she needs time to see if diver/menu can be arranged.

She will then contact you to let you know and/or request information for the Menu.

Both items are FREE and VERY popular!!! There are no guarantees that you can get the diver...but definately makes a dinner (or lunch) there special!!!

I have a diver booked for lunch in September. The manager that I dealt with (I believe his name was Louis--very nice) asked me if I also wanted to do the menus. I decided against that, but you can do one or the other.
